Brilliant location, amazing hospitality, spacious room with a lovely comfortable bed, Rhona is a very warm, friendly and welcoming host. Breakfasts are yummy cooked with love and catered to my dietary requirements. A truly great three day stay 🙌

Fantastic wee guest house with lovely hosts

The location of Hannah's Guesthouse is perfect, within quiet neighbourhood and in a 10-15 minute walking distance from both Union Street and the train station. We've enjoyed the quiet nights and the proximity of the main street, where we dined in the evenings. Rhona and Joe were very friendly and helpful, served a great breakfast in the morning and entertained us with a lovely chat. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

An Unforgettable Stay at Hannah's Guesthouse! Hannah’s Guesthouse was hands down the most amazing place I stayed during my entire trip through Scotland! From the moment I arrived—groggy and sea-sick after a rough overnight ferry from Shetland—I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness by the wonderful owners, Rhona and her husband John. Even though I showed up early in the morning, they didn’t hesitate to invite me in and offer a delicious breakfast. And not just any breakfast—the honey was straight from Rhona’s own bees! She’s studying to become a beekeeper, and her passion and love for it absolutely shine through in every spoonful. Also my bike was places in a safe and accessable place, right by the frontdoor! Very convenient. To my delight, they even let me check into my room early so I could rest and recover a few hours before heading out to explore the city. That kind of generosity and thoughtfulness is rare and so deeply appreciated. Rhona and John were full of great suggestions for local attractions, and thanks to them I got to visit the largest indoor gardens in Europe, right in Aberdeen—what a breathtaking experience! I can’t recommend their B&B highly enough. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming, and truly memorable place to stay, this is it. Thank you so much, Rhona and John, for the beautiful room, the amazing breakfast, and your incredible hospitality. I’ll never forget it! 💛

Hannah's Guest House was in a great location, Union Street was within walking distance and public transport was also great. Rhona and Joe were excellent hosts and made the guest house feel like a home from home. Nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was fabulous, Joe is a great cook. Rhona and Joe were very informative about eating out and places to visit. All in all Hannah's had a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and I would definitely stay there again if visiting Aberdeen.

Only thing we didn't like was the room being on the 2nd floor but that was only because we didn't read the booking properly, next time we would like room 2 please Rhona.

Lovely place, highly recommended!

I'm so glad I chose Hannah's. The hosts are one of the nicest people I've ever met. You can feel like a part of the family. Breakfasts are prepared every morning individually for every guest and you can talk with the hosts basically about anything. This is a great experience and you can get a lot of useful information and ideas for trips during these mornings. Breakfasts are superb in quality and reasonably priced. The room I had was spacious, well-equipped, quiet and clean. There was a TV, fridge, large windows. Bed was very comfortable. The general area is pretty and calm. It's 15 minute walk to the city center, there are also bus stops nearby.

Sometimes there was a little bit cold in the room and phone reception/wi-fi inside is so-so (probably due to very solid walls). I really had to think hard to find something I didn't like.

Excellent value for money in immaculate room

Amazing value for money. Room was spacious and immaculate and very tastefully decorated with huge comfy bed. Host was very friendly and quick easy check in/check out. Doubt you’d find a nicer room for the price. Was handy having a fridge and microwave as well as a nice seating area and the local information in the room was useful too.

Lighting in the room was fairly dim. It would have been handy to have a full length mirror in the room and hairdryers as standard rather than having to ask for one and could have done with a little more milk as there was barely enough for one coffee. Was difficult to sleep as the green neon light on the fire exit sign illuminated the room but I am a very light sleeper anyway so probably wouldn’t be an issue for most. The towels were very rough and could have been softer but was still excellent value for money so these are small niggles and you really would be hard pushed to find better for the price

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. There was a kettle, a small fridge, plates, mugs, and even a UK plug adapter in the room! The location is great. 5-10 mins walk to the main street, 5 mins walk to the Duthie park. Hannah was a lovely host, super friendly and lovely! Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again!

Couldn’t be better

A very clean and comfortable room. I was afraid there’s no kitchen but there was everything we needed in our room: a fridge, a kettle, basic dishes and tea, coffee, cookies, even a EU socket adapter. A microwave was available on another floor. A shared bathroom is very clean.

The owners of Hannah’s Guesthouse are great and are very hospitable. The interior is very nice and very clean. The location of the guesthouse is just far enough outside the city center so as to avoid the noise but is close enough for visitors to be able to walk to most attractions, including the train station if you want to venture outside the city. I enjoyed my stay here, so consider Hannah’s Guesthouse when visiting Aberdeen.
