A pleasant surprise!

I had one of the ensuite double rooms, which was a good size. Warm and comfortable. Brilliant continental breakfast. Older style building but very neat and clean. Excellent value for money.

Very warm and cozy guesthouse

Almost everything. The staff were very kind. The room was large and warm even during cold nights. The location was good, even in the city centre but you could have a good night sleep because of quietness for a certain time. Lots of electric plugs including USB-C hole on the bedside. Cereal and bread were enough for breakfast in a relatively comfortable area.

I didn't know what happened last night during the stay when there probably was a gathering or something. People still talked loudly and had fun even though it's already past midnight. They, one after another, came to the shared bathroom, which was next to the room I stayed in, so it was quite the disturbance.

Very cold in Scotland as you would expect but the B&B was lovely and warm. Nice simple breakfast (vegan option) Staff were all great, parking £5 great value, massive place like a tardis.

Nightmare

Nothing

Very small room. NO TOILET. only 2 toilets for the whole hotel near to the main entrance, which I have to walk good time from my room to the toilet, if you’re lucky enough you’ll get the toilet free for use. NO BREAKFAST, they only provide cereals and yogurt and they call it a breakfast!!!

Fabulous and educational

Absolutely everything and I didn't want to come home because it's absolute nightmare. I have never stayed in a guest house and only ever usually stayed in timeshare and all inclusive. Apart from childhood.

Really nice place to stay, but no much light in the car parking

Even if the bathroom is shared, it it really clean

The parking space is really dark, there is only one light with the movement sensor, but this one opens only when you're basically already in front of the door. If you're trying to load/unload the car you have no light at all, and even reaching the car is pretty slippery if it rains, so more light could be really handy

Comfy and restful.

I’ve stayed here several times and have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location of the guest house is ideal being very close to the centre.

Shared toilets but, at the end of the day, I chose that because it’s cheaper!

Not my cup of tea!

Great location. Family room availability. Double bed was comfortable and bed linen was clean as were the towels. Light breakfast included in price.

Could do with ‘freshening up’!! Not very clean with a very funky smell at the rear of the building. Hair in the bathroom sink and on the floor. Shower overflowed. Suspect stains on inside of bathroom door. Pillows were awful. Single bed mattress had dodgy springs. Parking had to be paid for as an extra. Noisy guests slamming front door at 2am. Receptionist didn’t even look at us on check out or ask how our stay was.

Basic but perfectly serviceable - a bargain

A bargain price for this location in Aberdeen (and even including a sink ad shower in the room and a - very basic - breakfast). The location is central but quiet. The bedding is good quality. I'd stay here again for a one night stop over.

The shared toilet wasn't very near the room. The place is old and basic and the walls are paper-thin so you'll hear your neighbours speaking and snoring and you just have to hope they don't watch TV.

A well organised and comfortable bandb, at a fair price, and offering an inclusive good buffet style breakfast.

The bedroom door had a self closing door and a Yale type lock without a catch: it would be v easy to lock oneself out, especially since bathroom facilities were remote from the room. Checking in turned out to be via a code sent via a messaging app, which I don’t monitor, and therefore missed.

Lovely little guesthouse in the centre of Aberdeen!

This was a lovely guesthouse for a couple of nights!! Room was cosy and clean, and having a shower in the room was actually nice since it meant I didn’t have to leave my room with my towel etc to use a shared shower. The breakfast included in the price was really nice, it was a generous selection and available for most of the morning. The location was very central and easy to find. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Aberdeen!

I was amazed at the facilities available for a budget guest house. The staff were really attentive and the breakfast met our requirements. I never heard a sound once I was in bed and had a really comfortable sleep. I'll be staying again if I need accommodation in Aberdeen. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

Nice experience

Friendly welcome and staff, quiet enough location and not far from station though anyone with walking issues its a bit of hill going up if you take short cut up steep stairs from station but good excersise for those who like it 😁 spotless bathroom an nice breakfast area which is good.

The only thing id have to say it was bit dusty in room apart from that cant fault the place or staff.

Pleasant, comfortable rooms in central location, but check facilities work.

Room was pleasant with good facilities - shower, kettle, very comfortable bed, large opening window. Receptionist was welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was a good choice of help-yourself cereals, juices, teas and toast. Location was a 10 -15 minute walk from station, and just off Union St - very central, but in a quiet street.

My room smelt unpleasant, and the shower did only cold water. I did raise this with the receptionist in the morning, but it was then too late to remedy, and they have a no refunds policy, so I'd suggest checking facilities while the staff are still on the premises, and can give you another room. The shared toilet - there seemed to be only three, two on the ground floor and one on the second floor, shared between a large number of rooms. My expectations, from previous experience of other 3 star hotels, was of one nearby on the same floor.
