Pondok Prapen Guest House

It was a super cozy and nice place, where I had a large private balcony that I could use every morning to do my yoga practice outside. I felt very comfortable and it was quiet around, so sleeping was amazing. Also really comfortable beds, and the restaurant that they work together was also amazing! I had the best Gado Gado there that I eat in Indonesia, with amazing peanut sauce! And would definitely come back! Thank you! 🙏🏼✨

I was not aware that the swimming pool was only for the villas and not for the rooms. That was not clear for me in the booking page. Also it was a little bit far from the Main Street, but that is a choice and depends on your needs :)

It was cozy, inviting and peaceful. Beautiful architecture too! The room was charming, with a sense of privacy and a nice patio with good breakfast. The hosts are very kind and were helpful to arrange a pick up from the airport.

Nothing

The room was spacious and comfortable. We had plenty of space in the bed and the shower was pretty! Even if we don't use the A/C it was a plus on the night which can be kind of hot in Ubud. The location is just a few minutes walking from the center and to visit Ubud you always take a grab or a gojek so you will end by taking a scooter to come back too. There are some good places to eat next to it no need to take a ride. The hotel is really quiet compared to other places, so we slept like babies! They were really helpful and smiling, they even let us check-in earlier and adjust to our schedules! A big thanks for that ! A little note for the readers. We did the mount battu, where it was crowded with people. You take 2 breakfasts (I would have preffered to avoid the first one at 3 am wake up later or start hiking earlier to have more time enjoying the sunrise). The hike is about 1h45 minutes the view is really pretty so it was still worth it. Thanks again for the last minute booking!

Everything was really nice and we had a great time relaxing in Ubud which is not easy. I would recommend, to make it even better : - having more variety in the breakfast - More explanation about the activities and what to expect.

The hotel rooms are located inside of a temple. It’s super serene. It is run by a family and truly feels like you’re a guest of that family. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. When I arrived they had a chalkboard with my name written on it welcoming me to the property. Really charming touch. Also, the beds were very comfortable compared to other hotels at similar price points. Lastly, breakfast is included and you can eat it on your patio. It’s really nice.

The breakfast is a bit limited. Eggs of your choice with a piece of bacon, salad, and coffee or tea. But that’s okay. I enjoyed the plain omelette.
