Ferienhof Krinde

We loved our stay here. Nestled in nature with breathtaking views over Lake Thun, the location was both peaceful and memorable. The drive up and down Ringoldswil hill was thrilling and offered spectacular scenery at every turn. The Panorama Bridge Sigriswil, which my wife had long wanted to visit, was only about 15 minutes away. We also enjoyed experiencing everyday life in a traditional hillside community, which made our stay feel uniquely local. The hosts were exceptionally thoughtful and welcomed us with wine and chocolates, a gesture that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

As the family's designated driver, I quickly became familiar with the winding route between the property and the main road. The drive down the hill takes about 30 minutes, and I made the trip almost daily during our stay. Public transportation options from the property are somewhat limited, so having a car is highly recommended. I noticed some fellow travelers happily hiking in the area, but with young (and not-so-enthusiastic) kids, that wasn't a practical option for us. It's also worth noting that there are additional charges for the city tax and towel rental, so you may want to bring your own towels if you'd like to avoid the extra cost.

The atmosphere at the accommodation was amazing.

De ligging is echt boven verwachting zo mooi. Elke dag weer een mooi uitzicht op de berggen en de heuvels. Dit huisje op de bovenste verdieping had bijna alles wat je nodig had tijdens je vakantie om ook zelf te kunnen koken. Een HEEL GROOT PLUSPUNT vonden wij het GEWELDIGE LIGBAD!!!!!! Hier kan je als je wil met z'n 3en in :-) De mensen zelf zijn ook erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ga je naar Zwitserland, zou ik dit zeker aanraden! Parkeren is gratis en ruim op eigen grond. Tip: Verdiep je in een van de vele supermarkten in de omgeving. Deze kunnen best erg in prijs variëren. De stad Thun op ongeveer 20min rijden is erg mooi!

Let op!!! Voor aankomst volg goed de beschrijving van de host, zij bevelen een goed en breder begaanbare weg aan voor de weg de berg op. Als je in de eerste instantie de navigatie volgt kan dit op sommige plekken erg stijl en smal zijn. Wij Nederlanders zijn dit niet gewend en dat was best een uitdaging. Ken je de weg, dan is dit wel zeer goed te doen. Geen waterkoker. (Gaat ook in een steelpannetje.) Geen handdoeken Wij vonden de bedden vrij hard.
