Lovely apartment in a stunning location

The location is beautiful! And the apartment is spacious! Very clean.

The contact with the host was very minimal via WhatsApp. We didn’t get a reply when we messaged the host about some malfunctions in te house. Also: an explanation how and where to separate the waste would be recommended (plastic, paper, green, glass).

Not worth the price and misleading information in the announcement

The kitchen had a fridge and the shower was good

The mattress wasn't comfortable at all, there were no views since we were in the basement, there was no access to the washing machine (which it was listed in the announcement), the internet was slow, there was no microwave, it didn't smell well and there was no air fresheners

Wonderful cottage and stay in Beatenberg!

Excellent location with amazing views of the lake and city. We explored Beatenberg and were even invited to a local musical festival behind the tourist information office. The bus to town was very convenient and highly recommend using it. Overall great experience.

Stunning views, lovely place to stay

This was a spectacular place. The view from the room was unbelievable, magical. Check-in process was easy, and the host sent very clear instructions on how to do it. Parking was very good also. The interior of the property was nice and comfortable. Beds comfortable. Good kitchen facilities.

Beutiful postcard like stay

Beautiful location - you feel like you are staying in a postcard you have wached for many years in magazines. Even if there were things that should still be fixed in the apartament, location and fantastic view turns your eyes off all that.

It’s not about dislike but just for somebody to take into acount… The windows of our bedroom were on the side of the main street and the big cars driving by made a disturbing noise, but you can always use earplugs at night. Also a large lantern was lit in the evening, the light of which shines directly into the bedroom. Anyway, it didn't bother us much and we would stay here again and again.

Beautiful place, nice rustic apartment

- Great rustic apartment - The available appliances worked great - BEAUTIFUL location, the views from the window are fantastic, the village is great - Close to most of the shops - Good starting point for hikes - Has a fondue set (you need to bring your own fuel and matches though) - Plenty of heaters available (portable electric radiators, fake electric chimney, central gas heater, radiator in the bathroom), we had no issues staying warm despite it being -10C outside - Dedicated parking spot under a roof

- Like the others mentioned, the sound insulation for windows is really bad; not much of a problem in low season but I can expect it to be quite bad otherwise - Like in many chalets, the floor is not level so unless you prop the doors with a weight (provided in the apartment!), they *will* hit you :), - It's an old restored chalet, so there aren't many power outlets; it's especially annoying in the kitchen where you have to make choices between which amenities you want to run at the given moment - The access to the bathroom is through one of the bedrooms, so while it worked great for a couple, I wouldn't recommend it for 2 couples

There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. And it is near one of the bedrooms. So we had to pass through our friends bedroom to reach the bathroom. It was very uncomfortable.
