Very good

It was a great location. The view - on a clear day - in the mountains is amazing. The drive to get there is over a very small road, which needs snow chains when there is snow - but once you are there it is great. The cottage itself is spacious, has a fireplace, large bedrooms and all facilities needed. The host guided us through the house and explained everything in detail. Outside, on the shallow slopes we could sledge in the snow and make great walks.

The damp/moist smell in the cottage was strong and unpleasant, especially on the ground floor. This is the reason for a lower value on 'comfort' (which was otherwise very good).

Beautiful place to stay, very pretty and close to Grindewald.

The chalet was very lovely and clean with all amenities that are needed and more. It is located in a beautiful forest but was abit scary going up the mountain on an icy road so if going in winter make sure you get your groceries etc before you head up so that you dont have to make too many trips out.

The bath towels were VERY small! The road to the chalet is very narrow and windy and scary when iced up

The hospitality was exceptionally good! The area is located so perfectly that most of the time you feel that the whole area is yours alone. Also, in the house, there are many amnesties that are very exclusive, like jacuzzi and fireplace.

Chalet super mais accès trop compliqué

Très beau chalet, très très bien refait! Confortable, super équipé

La localisation. La route pour accéder au chalet est très très étroite, impossible de se croiser , si une voiture arrive en face c’est une marche arrière longue et périlleuse. Et si c’est enneigé, c’est encore pire.

Schöne Wohlfühloase, stressige Zufahrt.

Das Alpenparadies ist ein schönes Haus mit einer sehr guten Ausstattung. Im Haus selbst haben wir uns, auch Dank Kaminfeuer, wohlgefühlt und bis auf Kleinigkeiten war alles super.

Uns wurde vor der Buchung verschwiegen, dass das Haus nur über eine sehr schmale und zum Teil sehr steile Alpstraße erreichbar ist. Erst wenige Tage vor der Anreise wurden wir informiert, dass wir Schneeketten bräuchten und einen Allradantrieb. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir diese Unterkunft nicht gebucht. Zufällig haben wir Allrad, Schneeketten für 150 Euro haben wir jedoch noch kaufen müssen. Am ersten Tag war die Straße noch schneefrei, sodass wir ohne Schneeketten hochkamen. Der Parkplatz war allerdings mit einer glitschigen Eisplatte bedeckt. Und der Gedanke an eine Bergabfahrt bei vereister Straße hat uns gestresst. Immerhin bekamen wir die Nummer vom Schneeräumdienst, die wir dann auch zweimal anriefen. Das war auch der Tipp vom Vermieter, vor dem Benutzen der Straße dort anzurufen. Denn bei Gegenverkehr muss ein Auto unter Umständen mehrere hundert Meter auf der engen und steilen Straße rückwärts fahren. Es wird übrigens erst ab 10 cm Schneehöhe geräumt und Salz wird auch nicht gestreut. Dafür feiner Kies. Wer im Winter oft auf solchen Straßen unterwegs ist, für den mag das alles kein Problem darstellen. Für nicht in den Bergen wohnende Feriengäste wie uns hat die schwierige Zufahrt zum Ferienhaus jedoch einen erheblichen Stressfaktor dargestellt. Zudem ärgerte uns, dass uns diese Tatsache erst kurz vor der Ankunft mitgeteilt wurde und der Vermieter sich, darauf angesprochen, rausgeredet hat.

Für uns war der Ort perfekt auch mit dem Hund. In der Wohnung war Alles vorhanden was wir brauchten und mehr.

Om nooit meer te vergeten

Vakantie huisje met alles erop en eraan, alles ligt er wat je nodig hebt, en natuurlijk niet te vergeten de prachtige locatie waarop het vakantiehuisje zich bevind, beneden aan de berg bevind zich Station Burglauenen, waarmee je met de trein binnen 10 minuten in Grindelwald dorp bent, en in 25 minuten in Interlaken stad bent. Een vakantie om nooit meer te vergeten

Eigelijk waren wij alleen maar positief, alleen ligt het huisje hoog boven op de bergen met steile paden naar boven, hartstikke mooi om te bewandelen maar wel erg zwaar, verder hartstikke genoten!
