About this apartment rental
This cozy and comfortable 3-room vacation apartment is fully equipped, featuring two bedrooms, each with two beds, and a living-dining room with satellite TV, a DVD player, and a stereo system. Central heating throughout the house.
The kitchen offers everything you’d expect from a modern kitchen. Our vacation apartment offers Wi-Fi internet access.
In the summer of 2022, we completely renovated the bathroom, and all the windows in the vacation apartment were replaced that same year.
From the balcony, you can enjoy the unique view of the Eiger, the lower Grindelwald Glacier, and the Fiescherhörner; a patio invites you to linger in the summer. Year-round access, a garage space, and a parking spot are available.
The chalet is located near the village center: The train to the First region, one of the most beautiful ski areas in the Bernese Oberland, is an 8-minute walk away, and the Pfingsteggbahn (open only in summer) is just a 2-minute walk away. Buses also take vacationers to the Männlichenbahn valley station in just a few minutes. There’s a special ski bus for children to the ski school area in the village center. In summer, Grindelwald serves as the starting point for many hikes.
Sports Center: Grindelwald features a sports center with an indoor pool (featuring the "Black Hole" slide), a wellness oasis (Finnish sauna, sanarium, steam room with fresh air area / sun terrace, solarium, massage), an artificial ice rink for ice skating, curling, and ice hockey, and a curling hall with 4 rinks.
Our rental rates include final cleaning but do NOT include the municipal visitor’s tax (starting at 1.1.2024 CHF 5.20 per guest aged 12 and older). You can either rent bed linens and towels from us for CHF 25.00 per person or bring your own.

We really enjoyed our stay and it exceeded our expectations! Perfect location, surreal chalet stay with stunning views. Everything was well equipped and clean. We were able to access lots of hikes in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay! The property has stunning views of the Eiger and is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. It's a beautiful walk to downtown and a 15 minute walk to the train station and Coop Store. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped and furnished. Everything you want and need. The host is helpful and responsive. This was one of the best places we've stayed in 15 years of VRBO. We will make this property our first priority if we return to Grindelwald.

Die Angaben wie auch die Bilder entsprachen 1:1 der Realität.
Niedrige Ausstattung, altes Chalet, jedoch komplett neue und moderne Küche inkl. der Elektrogeräte. Das Bad ist alt, die restlichen Räume und Möbel alt, aber ok. Unangenehmer Geruch der Heizung (vermutlich Öl ?). Super Blick vom Ess- und Wohnzimmerbereich auf den Eiger. Toller Garten für Kinder jeglichen Alters zum Spielen oder für alle zum Entspannen. Mit zwei schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten, schöner umlaufender Balkon. Sogar Garage vorhanden.
Sehr angenehme Betreuung von der Eigentümerin, sehr nette und liebe Person, Empfang war herzlich und sehr positiv. Auch während des Aufenthalts Nachfrage nach dem Wohlbefinden durch die Eigentümerin.
Das Chalet würde ich alle weiterempfehlen, die keine Ansprüche an die Ausstattung haben. Wobei selbstverständlich Radio, CD Player, DVD Player, TV und Telefon vorhanden waren. Das Chalet war gepflegt.
Super Lage für alle, die nicht direkt im Zentrum ansässig sein wollen. Ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Hauptstrasse und ca. 8 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Dorfmitte. Zum Wandern super Ausgangspunkt. Zum Skifahren eher zu weiter Fußweg mit Skiern und Stöcken bis zum Skibus, insbesondere für Kinder aufgrund eines steilen Fußwegs.
Restaurant, Gondeln, Busse etc. sind alle ohne Probleme zu Fuß im Sommer, Herbst oder Frühjahr zu erreichen. Zum Wandern ideale Lage. Ruhig und super Blick auf den Eiger vom Chalet und Garten aus.
Wir haben uns mit zwei Kindern im Alter von 10-11 Jahren(separter kleiner Schlafraum mit zwei getrennten Betten) wohl gefühlt.
