Good location, spacious apartment and great for a family stay.

The location is very convenient as it is close to train station (2 minute walk) and shopping areas, Coop supermarket and the local bus port, is less than a minute from chalet, excellent mountain views from all areas of apartment, especially from the balcony, beds were comfortable, newly renovated bathroom was good, the upstairs bed room area roof was low, as mentioned by others, but adults can get around up there and our children loved it, as it was like their own little apartment area to sleep and relax, as they wished, the main bed room was a little cold, but there was a small portable electric fan heater that warmed it up, no noise at all from cars or buses inside the apartment, we are a family of 4 and this good sized apartment suited our needs well.

Decent option among many overpriced accommodations.

Switzerland is very expensive, and accommodations in Grindelwald were on par, so while I would consider this apartment poor value in most places, it was an ok value for a very expensive country. The apartment offered free parking and was well situated to local attractions and the bus station (the host also shared a platform to register for free public transport). It was also nice to be able to cook on our own. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Both beds could have been made up, and while clean, the apartment was sparse in terms of amenities, considering the high cost of the rental.

Good deal in a overpriced town

Execelle location. Convient to the CoOp. Quiet. Very responsive staff. Laundry available. Excellent kitchen

No screens on window so we were attacked by mosquitoes or we were roasting at night. We could not turn the heat down or off. Thermostst was already at min but the heat remained on.

Beautiful views and central location!

Excellent location and beautiful views. The back deck was in frequent use. All the beds were comfortable and the apartment was roomy.

The shower curtain was moldy and needed replacing. The apartment would also get very warm.

One of the bedrooms is upstairs under the roof, very very tiny. May not be comfortable for some people who have problems staying in close space.

Excellent location and facilities, could do with more personalised touches.

Excellent location just round the corner from the train station, bus stop and Coop. Apartment was also big enough for our family of four. Well equipped with basic shower and shampoo, salt and pepper, all cooking equipment, oven, microwave and even a dishwasher with pods to last us the 6 days.

Could do with a little bit more love and care eg pillows and throws on the sofas. Messages via booking.com was also rather many and confusing but point gets across at the end and response was always prompt. Great that there was laundry facilities but a more detailed explanation about the meter would be great as we had no idea how much to put in/whether there was already credit etc. lastly, the loft with the second bedroom - tall people beware! We walked around hunched as I alr knocked my head many times against the beams and ceilings. Also, the staircase up might need looking at as it seems to be coming slightly loose.

Highly recommended, we would definitely choose it again

We would stay at this apartment again in an instant. The location is incredible: just steps from the central train & bus stations, Coop supermarket, and heart of the main street of shops and restaurants, while still being quiet and offering a panoramic view of the high mountains. It's a snap to catch a bus to Grindelwald First or Terminal for easy access to skiing. The apartment itself is modern, comfortable, clean, and spacious, with a large kitchen/dining/living area and bedroom on the main level, plus a loft with sitting area and cozy second bedroom.

Communication via Booking.com was a bit weird -- we kept getting multiple versions of what appeared to be the same "thank you for your reservation" message but it turned out new stuff was being added to the very bottom.

Very good stay

The accommodation we stayed in was spacious and cozy, located in an excellent area. The facilities of the apartment were satisfactory and met our needs.

However, we encountered some issues with storing our luggage before check-in time. Please note that it is important to communicate clearly with the host if you plan to store your luggage as the laundry room where we stored ours was locked unexpectedly, causing us to wait for an hour. The second floor's attic becomes very hot in summer, opening the window helps a bit, but many insects fly in. Sleeping on the sofa bed in the first-floor apartment is much better.

Amazing, would stay here again.

The property was very well kept, easy to find and very clean. I would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended to family and friends.

One bathroom amongst 5 people was hard to manage but we made it work. it was difficult bringing luggage up and down the stairs. I also was unaware of one of the bedrooms being inside a loft with very low ceilings. it worked for one of my guests, otherwise it would have been very claustrophobic for the rest of us.

Miserable and my baby turned blue from the cold

The host Sofia was hard to get in touch with and let us freeze all night even when we kept calling. We paid for a two bedroom apartment as we were two families travelling together, but because the apartment was cold all night we had to sleep in the living room all together gathered around a small desk heater. The heaters should be turned on before guest arrival because it takes a long time for the heat to work. When we tried to talk to the host about it she didn’t want to talk to us and help us resolve the issue. It was very disappointing considering how much we paid to stay there.

Strategic location near the train station, just 3 mins walk.

Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am the following day. It's unfair. Our purpose is to come all the way here for a holiday and not a business trip. We're not having a meeting at 10am which will "force" us to check out before 10am. We would like to enjoy ourselves and take time after waking up in the morning. Hence, your check out time max at 10am is unfair for me (customer). The reasonable time for check out is at 12 noon and then you have 4 hours time to clean up the room since your check in time is strict at 4pm. 4 hours time to clean the room is more than enough before the next Guest will arrive. In my opinion it is unfair if you take 6 hours of time to clean up the room from 10am to 4pm. Another input for other guests to consider, please be aware the room upstairs is very small, I suggest it is better for children and not for adults. Watch out for your head when you're going upstairs.

A average apartment with unpleasant surprises. Not value for money

Excellent location. Quiet & close to supermarket & shops. Lovely renovated kitchen

The bathroom & toilet were left unrenovated and are old, outdated and far below par. The 2nd so-called bedroom is up in the attic and useable only for small children & pigmy - if they can manage the rickety staircase. The door opening is 1.2m!! Calling it a bedroom without explaining what exactly it entails, is hugely misleading, if not fraudulent

Comfy quiet apartment in the center

We were here just before the planned renovation, I hope it will be superb after it! Comfy and quiet apartment in the center with beautiful view to the mountains. There is enough place for 4. The host is very helpful, luckily we didn't have any problem. Supermarket, sportcentrum, bus station are in 2 minutes walk. I especially loved the old cupboard in the livingroom.

The gallery is a little bit low, you must take care of your head. Otherwise everything was great.
