The top floor traditional apartment was very homely and cozy. The kitchen was enormous with every cooking utensil imaginable. The bathroom (shower and separate bathtub) was superb and modern. The hosts very welcoming. No stairs lugging suitcase to room with a sealed walkway from car park spot. Private entrance. Close to Burglauenen train station to travel 15 minutes to Grindelwald. 6 Swiss francs (for 2 adults) . Pricing for accommodation was most competitive ($$$ less) compared to central Grindelwald Switzerland. Extraordinary view from garden table setting through mountainous valley.
Although not much travelling holiday time to watch, Television could be setup with netflix internet connection and English speaking channels like BBC Sky News etc.. All German Swiss channels.

Excellent
To say that the place is perfect would be an understatement. Friendly hosts, modernly equipped apartments with everything you might need. I don’t like narrow mountain roads, but here it was just a short stretch with good parking. And the view from the apartments and the terrace takes your breath away. Two minutes to the train stop, which will take you to Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen (with an easy transfer). Or you can drive to these towns in just a few minutes.

The best place to stay in the Bernese Oberlin
Everything about this lodging is wonderful. This host is friendly and helpful. The apartment provides Swiss chalet style with modern conveniences. It is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, as well as clean and comfortable. There is a private patio with 360-degree breathtaking views.

Awesome and comfortable.
I loved the location, it was in the middle of heaven. Very near to the train station and easily approachable. The host was so warm. A beautiful cat named Charlie, My kid played with him so much. The apartment has many toys, like wooden train treks and so many others, making my kid feel so comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all the required utensils so don't bother to carry anything. They provide all the towels. So overall apartment was awesome.
There was nothing which we dint like, I would say everything was very good.

The chalet is the quintessence of 'Gemutlichkeit". Tasteful and outstanding.
