I definitely do not want to return to that place.

I liked the accommodation offer, especially because of the proximity to the restaurant and bakery. Everything was very convenient and pleasant.

I was unpleasantly surprised. When one comes to Switzerland, one expects a well-organized country where guests are valued, especially considering the high accommodation prices. What I encountered was disappointing: an unpleasant smell of dampness, dirty walls and floor, furniture in terrible condition, broken electrical sockets, cobwebs, and damp stains on the walls. Altogether, it leaves a very poor impression and does not justify the price at all.

Great location and comfortable stay

Great location and comfortable stay, but cleanliness could be improved I stayed at Sunny Day Apartment for three days and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the main railway station, which made getting around very convenient. The apartment itself is well-suited for couples or a small family of three, with enough space and basic amenities. While the stay was generally good, I did feel that the cleanliness could be improved a bit more to enhance the overall comfort. With a little more attention to detail, this place could be even better.

Rude bad host with a dirty accomodation

Very rude host!! Really a shame. Once I asked if he had my check-in info (after having text hem for 2 times earlier and getting no reaction), he brutally responded by: “Sorry.. Do you see that check in is From 16.00????? Why You think that we put the check in time?? For joke? I don't understand”. Have you ever heard a host saying this in gods sake? Toilet was awful, also leaking and moving. That smell, baaah. Ceiling too low and noises all around from neighbours. Really bad smell from all over the place.

It is very close to the Interlaken West station. Complete facilities and the room is very big. Very cheap considering what this accomodation offers.

Considering the cost for 3 nights ( if you are OK to make some compromise), it was value for money.

It was very spacious. Spectacular view from the window and very close (walking distance) to interlaken west station.

Bathroom and shower condition is horrible and needs urgent upgrade. There were moulds in the bathroom. Towels were not usable but we anticipated it and carried our own towels.

AVOID!

I encountered significant difficulties in establishing communication with the property owner. Ultimately, I resorted to contacting Booking.com for assistance, yet they were also unable to facilitate communication. I received a message from the owner only one hour prior to my booking. For any inquiries, I recommend utilizing online resources, as they may yield more informative responses. Upon my arrival at the property, I was immediately met with a strong and unpleasant odor of dampness, which necessitated my purchase of an air freshener for £5, as the situation was intolerable despite leaving the windows open. I noticed a plug partially dislodged from the socket, with exposed wires. In light of the potential danger, especially with my child present, I took a photograph and reached out to the owner to inquire whether the plug was live; however, I received no response. Later, my husband assessed the situation and confirmed that it was indeed live, posing a serious safety risk. The sole commendable aspect of this property is its location; however, it is otherwise unsuitable for occupancy and requires comprehensive refurbishment.

We enjoyed the spacious room and comprehensive facilities. The area was peaceful, and our host was very informative

Unfortunately, one of the electrical outlets was not working. Additionally, arriving at night made it challenging to find the entrance due to the lack of lighting. Installing some lights or lamps near the front door would greatly improve accessibility and make it easier for guests to find the apartment.

It was cheap and only 700m from Interlaken West train station

The floors were filthy, the drains made the apartment smell, the toaster didn't work, there's no smoke detectors, the ceiling is only 1.9m high so we hit our heads on light fittings, there's an oven but no oven proof dishes to cook in the oven with... Also beds for 5 people but only 4 single bed doonas/duvets

Wonderfull stay with few issues

Location was wonderfull. There was no breakfast or any services, no person from property to talk to. Email or note should come from the apartment for the keys as key location was v difficult.

ONCE THE KEY GOT LOCKED INSIDE THE DOOR I CALLED THE OWNER AND HE CANCELLED MY CALLS I CAME AT THE CHECK INN TIME AT 4PM AND AFTER NON STOP CALLING AND MESSAGING HE GAVE ME THE DOOR CODE THEN I SEND HIM THE PICTURE OF NOT CLEANED PROPERLY HE DID NOT RESPOND

Bad

It was one of the ad experience that we had during our vacation. So i didn't like anything.

There was no parking that i knew before but we had to unload our language and I was with kids and pregnant wife so just parked for 5 mins to take out language and leave upstairs but the owner called a police and my kids got terrified because they had neve experiensed such situation. Even he couldn't sleep well because he wanted to go somewhere else. And floor was not cleaned and appartament was smelly.

There is nothing good in this apartment. They can't even post here a picture of the actual entrance.

Scary entrance, there were many cob webs and dust. Very low ceiling and dirty. Beds were itchy. Creaking and uneven floors. Bathroom sink was clogged. I message the host but no reply at all. Window in the master's bedroom was slamming every time the wind blows because the lock was broken. Very horrible experience. This unit should be banned! It's a DUNGEON!!!!

I love how spacious the property was.

Spacious, location was superb, owner was responsive, things needed for short vacation like Flat Iron, kitchen utensils etc were in the property. Just lack only mirror for those who wanted to check their OOTDs. 👀

Poorly cleaned/Poorly maintained, no recommendation, would not book it again

Unfortunately not much to mention here. :-( At least the person offered to not charge us if we decide to search a different apartment and cancel our booking. After a few minutes he offered another apartment (Central Park #3), which was a bit better, but also was not really clean and poorly maintained. But like said, at least they did try to offer a solution. Also at least the sheets in the bed looked clean.

Sorry for the bad rating but the main issue with this apartment (and it seems with most apartments of this landlord) is, that it is NOT clean enough to feel comfortable and it ispoorly maintained. There was still some dirt or something one the floor when we arrived. Also the kitchen is old and needs renovation. The bathroom is also in a bad shape, and has some marks/stains on the ceiling and walls. The bedrooms are not to old, but also not clean enough to feel comfortable. Another big issue is the height of the rooms. It is an old house and so the height is just a bit above 2 meters, which makes all the rooms feel cramped. Like mentioned above, we decided to not stay there and the landlord offered us another apartment (Central Park #3). This one was a bit better, but also was not clean enough to feel comfortable (marks on the walls, etc.) and should be renovated (toilet and seat broken, etc.) Oveeall I would not recommend this place at all. The Central Park #3 which we got offered would be OK, if it would have been cleaned better. (We just accepted it, because we have been arriving late and didn't wanted to search something else. ) Another point is that there has been to less dishes for the number of people. (Everybody just got one plate, and there has been no additional ones. ) Also the communication with the landlord is very bad. We didn't get a reply for our Whatsapp or email even after 2 weeks, and needed booking.com support to call them, to get information. We would definitely NOT book any of the two apartments again.

1. The property charge my credit card two time. And he never answered the phone or answered SMS. 2. We wait for a long time when we arrived .We called him but no response. Later on he just sent SMS for the code of the key box. Why he didn't send it earlier? 3. It has a heater in the room but never turn on for 3 days during we stayed. 4. In the morning of the first day while I take a shower. They turn off the hot water. And turn it off until the night so we boiled the water in the pot by ourselves to take a bath. 5. I beg him to turn on the hot water because I have 5 year old daughter. He turned on for a short time only in the morning and the evening. 6. The shower box is out off order then it always has a water wet on the bathroom floor. When we walked into the room it also wet in the bedroom too. 7. The blanket and the pillows is very dirty. It's feel itchy all the time while sleeping. It's seems that it never been washing. 8. The room is dirty we must mob the floor before we stay. 9. The room and the refrigerator had a bad smells. 10. Wifi has no signal 100 %
