Peaceful retreat in Intragna - Antico Hotel

The hotel is a very old mansion, which preserved the historic look & feel, it is in the center of the little very well preserved medieval village. It is very peaceful place and it has a fantastic view over the valley. Highly recommended to visit!

Amazing, historical and very clean hotel in the heart of Swiss mountains. Just perfect location for those who are into hiking and enjoying nature. The staff of hotel were friendly and ready to guide you and support. The rooms are renovated in a way that historical element was preserved. Proximity of train station gives you a lot of flexibility and opportunity to explore nearby villages and towns. I also think the price was really affordable and the hotel is definitely worth it.

I’m really choosy but honestly can’t think of any drawback. Will definitely come back here again coz I enjoyed hiking and tranquility of Swiss nature.

The friendly and warm hospitality - I feel genuinely welcomed; location - easy access, in the middle of the village, quiet; well-maintained charming historic building; very nice (single) big room with a generously sized and comfortable bed, the room has a nice balcony; wonderful service - Ticino ticket provide free use of public transport with the canton, local tips; at least three really good restaurants in the village. Intragna itself is a good base for exploring this romantic and dramatic area

I loved being at Hotel Antica and will for sure return somewhen again

this was my 2nd stay at Hotel Antico; it’s in the historic Nucleo of Intragna - beautiful, authentic old village and hotel

it has not sufficient parking spots available - so better travel by train there or secure a parking spot in advance - I parked late in the evening (after 11pm) on a place in front of the school and I have promptly got a 120 CHF fine on the next day at 6:20am (and it was weekend type of days)

Superb stay

This is an old traditional building, but very well maintained. You have amazing views from the front terasse, breakfast was very good, everything is very clean and the staff is very nice and accommodating. Location is also very good, in the old center on Intragna, 10min from Ascina and very close to Locarno. Parking is easy, very close by. Good value for money.

The room we stayed in was quite small, but this was the last one available. :)

das Hotel ist ca. 10-15 Min zu Fuss vom Bahnhof erreichbar. Der Wasserkocher zum Teekochen war toll. Und die Nutzung der Ticino-Card für den ÖV

Für Personen mit Koffern ist der Weg vom Bahnhof zum Hotel anstrengend, da dieser aufwärts geht. Es hatte keine ganzen Verdunklungs-Vorhänge. Man hörte die Dusche von nebenan und die Lüftung im Badezimmer. Ein Bild an der Seite würde genügen.

Wir haben die Tage in diesem Hotel genossen.

Sehr schöne Lage mit allem was man braucht. Netter Empfang. Da wir kein Früstück gebucht hatten, haben wir den Wasserkocher für Tee sehr geschätzt und den Frigo im Zimmer. Die Betten waren sehr gut und das Zimmer und Bad sauber. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten leider die Information nicht, dass es einen Weg gibt links vom Bahnhof zum Hotel und haben die Koffer die Treppe hinauf geschleppt.

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Entspannen und zum Erkunden des Centovalli

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, geräumiges sauberes Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück, schöne Terrasse, wunderbare Lage am Dorfplatz, auch der Bahnhof der Centovallibahn ist schnell zu erreichen

Es war alles bestens, eine kostenpflichtige(5 SFr am Tag) Garage ist in der Nähe.

Sehr schön

Das reichhaltige Frühstück auf der Terrasse war sehr schön. Besonders das dunkle Brot war super lecker. Das Zimmer mit Klimaanlage war klein, auch das Bad war Mini, aber alles Tipptopp. WLAN sehr gut. Super war auch die zentrale Lage zum Bahnhof Intragna der Centovalli-Bahn, die über das Ticino-Ticket kostenlos nutzbar war. In 20 min waren wir in Locarno.

Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Shop ohne Personal, den man erst nach einer Anmeldung betreten kann.

Alles ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig. Der Hotelier holte unser Gepäck sogar mit einem Elektrowagen vom Bahnhof ab.

Bis auf den Lärm der Klimaanlage ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit einem sehr netten Gastgeber.

Eher einfaches aber sehr gutes Frühstück. Der kurze Weg zum Bahnhof. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber.

Wie schon in früheren Bewertungen geschrieben, ist der Lärm der Klimaanlage in gewissen Zimmern sehr störend.
