A great hotel with friendly and competent staff that always meets our needs in Brisago!

Hugo and Verbena are the two gems that shine in the wonderful Rivabella. It was my third visit to this special place, and it’s the people running the hotel that make it such a special place. The break on the patio was so intimate and we so enjoyed seeing Verbena again as she took care of us with her cheerful and kind demeanor. The views from our room were incredible, and swimming in the lake and then simply lounging in the sun was sweetZ

All my additional requirements (conference room for a video conference, free parking space) were met. No need to ask for, when I arrived everything was set and done. Nice and quiet room with a superb view. Breakfast on the terrace again with a beautiful view on the lake.

Our favourite in Ticino

We came back here and we loved each and every second of it. We got a free upgrade and we were very happy. Breathtaking views, serenity, direct access to the lake, birds chirping and the tropical garden just make it perfect. Breakfast is delicious, all local products, and the service is above and beyond. Highly recommend.

We stayed one day at Hotel Garni Rivabella au Lac and everything was good. The staff is very friendly, the garden is gorgeous, the breakfast delicious and the location is prefect - in front of the lake. I recommend.

Little paradise

A small paradise. Hotel originally from 1878. Beautiful paradise garden sloping down to the private beach. Extremely friendly owners that will go above and beyond to make sure the guests are satisfied. Breakfast personally brought to your table (no buffet) on the terrace overlooking the garden and lake. Room was in a vintage style with 2 opening double doors overlooking the lake. I will surely come back here.

A perfect stay to visit Ascona and Locarno, especially by boat.

Breakfast was served on the terrace and was good. The view was astonishing, especially from the 4th floor where our room was located, down to the lake. Location of the garden-surrounded hotel at the lake couldn't be better.

Outstanding and quiet garden with direkt lake access. Good number of free sunloungers, umbrellas towels, SUPs etc. Excellent breakfast. Particularly welcoming and helpful staff. Aircon & lake views from quiet & clean room.

Spectacular view and top location

Staff are very friendly and they speak many languages. Hotel location is easy to find with direct access to the lake and free parking space. There are sunbed over the lake from the hotel. Staff joined me to the room and explained the hotel facilities and suggested restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was nice with fresh products. Room has a nice view over the lake, good size and comfortable mattress.

Great stay for a long weekend

The hotel is located 2minutes from the Bus station Brissago Posta on the shore of Lago Maggiore. The rooms have an incredible view, staff is extremly friendly and the breakfast was really good.

Travelling as a couple, we had two separate beds united (however we did not specifically ask for a king sized bed so this most probably is on us). Maybe for breakfast it would be great to receive also vegetables going foward (as it was table service due to covid19, we did not specifically ask for vegetables, so this might also be our fault).

Lovely location, lovely owner and staff

The view out of our cute room was fantastic! The breakfast with a wonderful view was delicious with local products! There is a beautiful garden in front of the hotel and you have also direct access to the lake. :) Every wish was fulfilled by the owner and staff with joy and happiness. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay very much and recommend this lovely hotel to everyone!

Die sehr warmherzige Atmosphäre - man fühlt sich zu Hause. Kein übertriebener Komfort, einfach schön und sauber. Zum Wohlfühlen. Traumhafte Ausblicke auf den See vom Zimmer aus. Absolutes Highlight ist der verwunschene Park, der sich direkt zum See hinunter zieht. Ein unglaublich liebevoll angelegter riesiger Garten, ein tropisches Paradies. Mit privatem Liegebereich, um sich der wunderbaren Stille hinzugeben, direkt am Wellenspiel des Sees. Vom Hotelpark aus kann man auch direkt der schönen Seepromenade entlang ins Zentrum schlendern.
