Staff very friendly, room bigger than we expected, breakfast had a nice simple offer but all tasty, food in the restaurant really good and we recommend booking it. :-)

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The location was great, the room was clean and large enough for two people. It is not a fancy hotel but it is charming and the people are really nice.

The wifi was a bit slow but this was not a priority for me so I didn't mind.

- Good breakfast, with delicious apple pie - Friendly family running the place - Good mattress, pillows, duvet - Good food at the restaurant of the hotel, very nice dinning room - Pleasant and central location in Maggia

- Price is quite high for a very basic room, should be 20% lower to compare to similar places we've stayed at in Tessin's countryside at this time of the year - however there aren't many options to choose from in & around Maggia. - Small bathroom, lacking storage surfaces and hooks, not practical - Noise from the kitchen below our room until past 23:00 (except on Wednesdays when the restaurant is closed)

Destinazione obbligatoria in quel di Maggia

Camera bellissima, dal sapore antico e molto romantico. Posizione meravigliosa, nel cuore del paesino. Il personale è stato spettacolare, tutti sempre sorridenti e gentili, ci è stata servita la colazione nonostante avessimo sforato l'orario concordato e ci è stato offerto il portico come riparo per la moto dalla pioggia (per fortuna durata solo una notte). Si mangia davvero molto bene e dalla locanda è possibile raggiungere un percorso di trekking ad anello spettacolare o la famosa cascata del salto (attenzione, non sono lo stesso percorso).

Costoso ma siamo in Svizzera dopotutto e la qualità è stata ottima.

Locanda Poncini è un piccolo hotel all'interno del paese di Maggia, un posto magnifico a pochi minuti da Locarno e dal suo meraviglioso lungolago. La cordialità dello staff e la colazione sono state particolarmente gradite!

Rivedrei un pochino i letti, i cuscini sono troppo grandi e sarebbe comodo poter scegliere tra coperta e piumone per la notte, visto che il piumone era eccessivamente caldo per il tempo.

Ideale Lage, schön und zweckmäßige Zimmer, sehr sauber. Reichliches Frühstück. Die großzügige Terrase zum Abspannen. Nähe zu ÖV und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Authentisch, mitten im schönen Dorf Maggia. Freundliches Personal.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beim Essen, erst auf Aufforderung wird die Beilage gebracht.

Zimmer schön und sauber. Z.T. Lärm von draussen, aber logisch bei so zentraler Lage. Essen zT sehr gut.

Das Frühstücksbuffet: Raum dunkel und voller Ramsch, Buffet nicht bewirtschaftet, Käse u Fleisch auf der selben Platte, zT altes, hartes Brot, Personal musste gesucht werden, um Kaffee zu bestellen. Personal zT etwas zu forsch beim Servieren.

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit tollem Restaurant in einer einzigartigen Gegend.

Das Haus liegt im ruhigen Dorfzentrum von Maggia. Zur Bushaltestelle spaziert man in ca. 4 min. Die Mirbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt sehr empfehlnswerte, einfachere Unterkunft mit einem sehr guten Restaurant mit lokalen Spezialitäten
