A lovely place I would gladly go back to!

Charming host, quiet location right by the hiking path, excellent food and comfortable bed. In other words the perfect stop after a day of walking.

I didn't mind since I was alone, but the bathroom/WC was separated from the rest of the room with only a curtain. Some people travelling together might not love it. I'm not sure if all the rooms are like that. The bathtub was fabulous to immerse myself into after a day of walking under the sun, but it's pretty deep and possibly not the easiest to get into if you have limited mobility. Again: perhaps there are rooms with showers.

Great hiden Gem close to the city and Mountains

The location was really cool. Was quiet and near a nice river where my Kid and dog could swim and play without worrying about traffic. The staff was nice and the Garten was relaxing.

The Hotel is acessible only through a dirt road and narrow streets, don't have a lift, the TV was very small and the breakfast didn't had mutch choice.

The staff is super friendly, I felt really welcomed, there is a small beach with a river just in front of the hotel, which was great to refresh at the end of the day. We stayed in the apartment, we had a great view from the balcony but also a nice garden to relax in the back. The apartment was well equipped, lots of pots, trays, panini grill, wine opener, coffee machine, fridge also was very big and so was the freezer. The apartment was super clean and big. Finally, I forgot my dress and they were fantastic in sending it over to me. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The only small thing to improve would be the pillows and the mattress.

Really nice stay at locals who know their way around the kitchen :)

The people were nice, helpful and we understood each other in English :) The food they cooked for lunch/dinner was really really good and the prices very affordable for Ticino prices.

The breakfast could have more vegetables and fruits. There is no elevator, we were on the second floor with a small child so we had to do a lot of carrying.

The owner gave me one of their family bikes and that was extremely kind. This family owned/run business has an overall pleasant athmosphere and one feels comfortable at once.

Awesome Family Hotel

Wonderful family hotel right next to a small river! This small family hotel is clean and beautiful. The people who work there are very helpful, professional and courteous. Breakfast also was very good and tasty. If you don’t want to go looking for a grotto or a restaurant in the evening you can eat at the hotel. They’ve got a little restaurant as well. Or, you can just simply enjoy a very nice Aperol Spritz or other drink in the evening while looking onto their beautiful, little garden or the river. We absolutely loved our room on the top floor. With the room we had a balcony that looked onto their beautiful little garden and the river. There are two ways that lead to the hotel. Before you go there, if you want, give them a quick call and let them explain to you how the best way is to get there. Last but not least, there is parking for everyone. Really a sweet, awesome place!

Excellent location, great scenery, amazingly friendly and helpful staff.

I spent there 5 days with my little baby and it was fantastic. The location , the view and the staff are all amazing. My little one is still very small so I needed to cook for her her own food, the manager was very kind to offer me an electric kettle in my room so I had everything necessary in order to prepare her everything. The helped me with keeping the stroller in their deposit room so it does not stay outside over night so I had all the comfort I needed.

In cold days it may be ok to have some warm food at lunch, especially if it is raining and you cannot go hiking or visiting.

A cosy hotel in a very good location!

A very nice place conveniently located on the routes of many good hikes. Our room had a big balcony overviewing the river as well as extraordinary cool bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, selection of baked goods exceeded our expectations!

The hotel is run by a lovely family. It is in a cute small village and there are lots of hiking and biking paths from the hotel. It has a lovely terrasse with great view to have a drink in or take a sun bath.

Sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Schöne und idyllische Lage. Vielseitiges und gepflegtes Frühstückbuffet. Auch Abendessen wird auf Wunsch serviert. Wir haben zweimal köstlich gegessen.

Das Hotel ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden. In Google Maps ist die Zufahrtsstrasse als "Al Fiume" bezeichnet. In Golino auf kleinen gelben Hotelwegweiser achten und unten am Fluss der holprigen Naturstrasse folgen.

Baignades dans les rivières Tessinoises

Bel établissement au bord de la Melezza avec accès directement à la rivière pour les baignades en eau vive. Super accueil, les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympathiques. Belle chambre spacieuse avec terrasse pour l'apéro et faire sécher les affaires de baignade. Buffet du petit-déjeuner très varié. Idéal pour partir faire de la randonnée dans le Centovalli ou le val Onsernone.

Situé en contrebas de la route de la vallée, prévoir des bouchons d'oreille si vous êtes sensible au bruit de la circulation.

Die Lage.

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Fluss mit einem Parkplatz vor der Tür ist sehr gut. Dennoch kann ich die vielen positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen, da die Unterkunft meiner Ansicht nach stark überbewertet ist und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht stimmt. Die Zimmer sind zwar groß und geräumig, aber ansonsten recht unspektakulär. Der Kühlschrank war extrem laut und hat zudem unangenehm gerochen. Die Betten sind rollbare Einzelbetten, was nicht ideal ist. Abends gibt es keine blickdichten Vorhänge, nur Fensterläden, die nicht richtig halten. Der winzige Fernseher ist fast überflüssig. Zudem waren sowohl das WLAN als auch der Handyempfang sehr schwach. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist das Frühstück, das nichts Besonderes war. Für den Preis erwarte ich zumindest ein Ei und einen Cappuccino. Ein grosses Dankeschön geht an seine Frau, die unermüdlich und mit grossem persönlichen Einsatz gearbeitet hat. Ihre Leidenschaft und ihr Engagement haben das Projekt entscheidend vorangebracht. Als Höhepunkt der Unfreundlichkeit musste ich mir von einem Fremden anhören, dass ich im Vergleich zu ihm alt aussehen würde. Ein solches Verhalten ist inakzeptabel. Für ein Wochenende war die Unterkunft in Ordnung, aber aufgrund der Entfernung zu Orten, die man zu Fuß erreichen kann, und der beschriebenen Mängel, würde ich persönlich nicht wiederkommen. Normalerweise übernachten wir im Hapimag in Ascona. Obwohl es dort ähnlich teuer ist, bekommt man für das gleiche Geld deutlich mehr Komfort. Die sehr minimalistische Ausstattung der Unterkunft hier scheint dem Motto "mit wenig Aufwand viel herausholen" zu folgen.

Super nettes familiäres Hotel. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Es ist Familiär und man wird herzlich empfangen. Alle Wünsche werden erfüllt. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und immer sauber. Das Frühstück hatte gute Auswahl und immer frisches Brot. Mein Sohn hatte riesen Freude am netten Hund.

Es ist nicht einfach zu parken. Aber der Chef hilft :-)

Al Ponte Antico beau spot

Situé au bord d'une rivière avec plage aménagée idéale pour les familles avec enfants. Le personnel est très aimable et professionnel. Locarno et le lac Majeur sont à quelques km. Le petit-déjeuner sous forme de buffet est varié et copieux, il y en a pour tous les goûts (tip top).
