I have stayed at many hotels around the world, and I have never experienced such rudeness from a staff member. Our flight was cancelled, which caused us to lose a night in Italy. We caught the next available flight and then had a five-hour drive to the hotel. Unfortunately, check-in closed at 7 PM and we arrived at 7:30 PM. While I completely understand we were late, the hostile and unwelcoming way we were treated was totally unacceptable. Instead of even a hint of empathy, we were met with unnecessary attitude. With so many gorgeous hotels nearby, I would strongly suggest staying elsewhere. This place is absolutely not worth the stress.

Just confirming the first impression: it is not the check in time, it is not that I was expecting a 5 stars service, as the owner keep saying, I was expect some courtesy. The hotel is nice and clean, the owner is just rude, it assault you verbally (first things to discuss my negative first impression was to wait for me on Sunday morning before breakfast and stop me to “discuss”) and I am taking comfort from the fact that I am not the only one but she has lots of negative reviews. No hard feeling just stating my experience, if you check more then one person is saying the same things, apologies if it is not what you would like to hear. Feedbacks are precious and given to improve but if you do not listen and shout at people it will only get worst.

When they state check-in wasn't until 3pm, they really mean it. No one was on the premises until then. The actually building is well kept, tastefully decorated and very clean. Location is excellent and parking very easy. My room was exceptionally small (single room), but doubles looked OK. There was no fridge in the room and I don't think drinks were being served in the evenings. Other guests including myself brought drinks down and sat on the terrace by the pool - fine if you're drinking red win, not so fine if you'd like a cold drink. Breakfast was fair without being anything special. Staff were friendly

Lovely setting, surrounded by mountains. Short walk to everything you need. Nice homemade breakfast. Owners leant me an umbrella. Very homely rooms, decorated with pillows. Slightly small rooms but has everything you need.
