Modern loft with questionable layout and poor air circulation.

The property is centrally located, clean and modern with an interesting design.

It felt like the property was put together with only aesthetics in mind and not with the guests' comfort. Common basic hotel amenities were missing, such as hooks to dry towels or a detachable shower head. The shower also does not close and isn't sunken enough to avoid the entire bathroom from flooding. The worst part however was the bed being so high up in the room. While there is a window next to the bed, it faces the inside of the building, meaning that only smelly stuffy air gets in through it when opened, as well as allowing everyone to peek right into the bed. Even with the balcony doors and window open downstairs it felt like no fresh air at all got into the loft area. Because of this, we had a very unrestful night of sleep including feelings of panic and shortness of breath. If I had stayed here for more than one night I would have moved the mattress downstairs. In my opinion, a hotel this expensive shouldn't include that many inconveniences.

Location was perfect. Merano is a beautiful city with gorgeous views tonthe mountains, also,, the river that passes middle of the city add great value too :) About accomodation...hmm, it's a pub and a hotel on top. Rooms are very well insulated and block most noise coming from the pub - I was surprised to realised that.

Customer service can massively be improver in regards to check-in procedure. Had to wait around 15-20 for them to finish serving customers at the bar then my turn for check-in came. Although I haven't moaned about it so not sure where it's coming from, their attitude could do with an improvement in regards of friendlyness & professionalism.

Comfortable accommodation let down by difficult check in

Nice central location in the town although the recommended parking was a good 5 minute way and 17 euros a day. The comfortable and spacious accommodation was let down by over fussy and complex lighting and an AC system that was either not working or too complex to make work. On a minor point I would have preferred a sofa in the lounge area rather than cushions on top of a single bed. Arrival was also not a pleasant experience. I was sent an email during our day of arrival that I later learned gave instructions on how to self check in using a box in the pavement outside the restaurant (that was part of the hotel). As I was driving an email was sent in German explaining this. But as I was driving all day and don’t speak German anyway I had no idea that I was supposed to do so. On arrival at the restaurant I was met by a man who claimed not to speak a word of Italian (only German) and impatiently kept shouting at me: “self check in”. We did eventually sort out that we needed to go outside and use the codes given to us in the German email. I know this is a part of Italy where many speak German but surely the message could have been sent either in English (as all prior messages where) or Italian. The assumption that we spoke German (in Italy) left us with a frustrating exchange. I couldn’t help think that the man was being deliberately obtuse.

Overall great stay.

Nice location in center of Meran. Modern and stylish rooms. Had 2 different rooms during my 2 day stay.

WLAN not working. AC seems to be limited to 20 degree Celsius. Suite 3 with bath tube has no shower even though there is enough space. So difficult to have a simply a shower. Room 4 has a shower which to me is much more comfortable compared to a tube.

Nice apartment in the center with really poor service (checkin/out not possible, dirty kitchen)

Nice Apartment in the middle of the city.

We went there and there was no stuff to checkin and we did not reach any of the employees via the given number. So we did go to the next cafe and asked people if they know someone who could open us the door. Just to mention: We were with a small baby. The same happened for the checkout: Checkout until 10:30 - no one there to pay the bill. So we just went and some hours later received a call that we did forget to pay the bill... Weak management. In addition some items in the kitchen were dirty, a rotten soup in the kettle must have stayed there for a while.

Location is right downtown

Reservation listed a deluxe suite with private entrance 2 sofa beds and a double bed. The room they gave us was nice enough but much smaller with a bed and a couch. No balcony. Staff were barely helpful and gruff. Spoke to someone (reception?) they got on the phone who disputed my reservation details even though I had it in writing. Sent an email through the link in the booking app but got no response. The house wifi was an open network that we were unable to connect to with any of our 4 devices. Had to use an open network from a different restaurant that barely gave us service. Complained to the staff and they just shrugged I plan to persue at least a partial refund.

C'è stato un piccolo problema al momento del check-in; non è arrivata la mail con le istruzioni per il ritiro delle chiavi; fortunatamente le suite sono sopra il ristorante/bistrot, quindi in pochi minuti abbiamo risolto parlando direttamente con la proprietaria, che è stata molto cordiale.

Buon appoggio per una notte a Merano

Posizione strategica nella via centrale ma allo stesso tempo riservata perché dalla camera non si avvertivano i rumori esterni.

Migliorabile la disposizione delle luci all'interno del locale e l'isolamento della luce proveniente dalle finestre che danno verso la scala interna.

Ein gelungener Kurzurlaub über Sylvester

Es hat uns gut gefallen , sehr zentral, sauber und sehr hilfsbereites Personal mir persönlichen fehlten ein paar Bilder an den Wänden um es noch gemütlich zu machen aber das tat unserem Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch. Wir waren über Sylvester in Meran und dafür war es die perfekte Unterkunft.

Was heißt nicht gefallen, Geschmacksache, mir fehlten ein paar Bilder an den Wänden und ein paar Handtuchhalter im Bad.Aber das ist meckern auf hohen Niveau.

C'è di meglio per quanto costa

Il punto centrale e l'estetica della stanza.

Il bagno pessimo. La doccia non aveva un' anta, e di conseguenza l'acqua usciva tutta allagando il pavimento. Inoltre non c'era il doccino ma solo la doccia al soffitto costringendoti così a lavarti anche i capelli. Il bidè manco a pregarlo, ma ovviamente "non essendo in Italia", per loro è normale. Mancava anche un piccolo kit di benvenuto, bagnoschiuma - sapone.
