Adequate accommodation.

Location

2 single beds booked, but told only double bed available. We had to insist and a ‘camping bed’ was given to us.

DO NOT STAY HERE

The room was clean

Hotel nothing like the website claims. Website claims restaurant open 7 days but it is most definitely not. We arrived on a Tuesday having driven from Salzburg and were told the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays and were directed to a "Bikers" cafe in the next town! We were told breakfast was from 7am but when we arrived at 7.02am the place was full, and had been for some time, with nowhere to sit. There were only 9 croissants left, a little juice but all the other platters were empty, nothing had been refreshed. The place is threadbare, carpets old worn and curling at the edges, the paint gouged out in many places, mirrors degraded from age. There were crates of beer and other bottled drinks stacked everywhere in the corridors and "bar". We had booked a private balcony as claimed on the website but it was absolutely not - shared with at least 2 other rooms.

The hotel is good located and has a free parking. Our room had a nice outside view and a big balcony. Friendly staff. The breakfast was in general ok, but nothing outstanding.

The room furnishing is a bit dated, but for us it does not matter that much.

Great value for the price!

We got an amazing balcony in the room with a wonderful view of the mountains surrounding Meran. This made the stay so worthy!! Also got the possibility to store our bikes indoors and the breakfast was great!! Very conveniently located in the outskirts of Meran, you will stay out of the most crowded roads when entering/departing the city.

The shower mobiliary was slightly broken and not in the best state. Also the beds could have been more comfortable.

I couldn't find a normal plug for my laptop and that is the main reason for lower grade. I have no problem that hotel is outdated, but one can install normal plugs for laptops. Breakfast was scarce.

Very clean bathroom...New carpet..quiet room which was at the back of the hotel...good bed and large room.

Reasonable choice for a stay in Meran

The hotel is located across the river from the old town - the cathedral is some twenty minutes away on foot but it's a nice walk. The rooms are large, the furniture in reasonable shape. Perhaps not a place to write home about but if you need a place to stay in Meran for a day or two with parking and breakfast, it is certainly an advisable option.

Unfortunately in our case the room which is probably very quiet most of the time was not so as there is a construction site right behind the hotel. The building was almost complete in early August but it will probably require some more months of work. Front rooms might turn out quieter for the time being.

Colazione molto semplice e purtroppo il servizio è stato un po' tralasciato. Tempo di attesa per il servizio è stato un po' lungo, la cameriera è arrivata dopo esserci accomodati. Nessuna indicazione della sala per la colazione. Locale freddo.

Ich werde es nicht weiter empfehlen.

Die Lage war für uns gut. Frühstück war auch ausreichend und gut. Verständigung nicht einfach aber freundlich. Mittels Handyübersetzer hat es funktioniert.

Es gibt an der Rezeption keine Glocke. Man muss das Personal suchen. Keine Info‘s am Zimmer (keine TV Liste etc). Keine Information über Räumlichkeiten. Kalter Frühstücksraum (nur ein kleiner Heizstrahler beim Eingang). Müll unterm Bett und Spinnweben am Kasten. Sehr abgewohnt.

Struttura datata con tante cose da migliorare

Si salvano giusto la posizione (15 min a piedi dal centro), il parcheggio, lo staff gentile e il prezzo relativamente economico rispetto alla concorrenza.

Pulizia mediocre, camera spaziosa ma con arredamento minimale anni 70 consumato dal tempo, vasca senza tenda, rubinetteria che non funziona bene. Colazione poco varia, 3 brioche e qualche insaccato. Insomma per una notte di passaggio può andare bene ma senza pretese.

Tutto.....albergo a mio avviso da demolire e fare d'accapo..... accoglienza pessima,proprio come la struttura e le camere .. arredamento pessimo e sporco,personale che non sa cosa sia la ristorazione e fare turismo....non lo consiglio per niente,era meglio dormire in macchina. Non c'è nulla di positivo

Struttura tenuta malissimo, moquette sporca in tutti i corridoi. Andando verso la camera assegnata c'era un odore di fogna terribile, aprendo la stanza non si poteva respirare. Chiediamo il cambio camera e ci viene assegnata una camera con bagno in comune con un altra stanza dove l' odore era identico alla prima. Decidiamo di contattare l' assistenza booking che purtroppo nonostante la gentilezza non sono stati in grado di aiutarci. Facciamo una sola notte in struttura come ci viene consigliato dall' assistenza con l' idea di fare il check out la mattina successiva. La titolare straniera (asiatica) alla domanda dell' check out fa finta di non capire le motivazioni e non è disponibile neanche ad un rimborso parziale. Booking ci rimborsa 24 euro di una spesa iniziale di 520 €. Assolutamente da non andare in questa struttura e a malincuore non siamo neanche contenti del rimborso effettuato da booking, useremo booking solamente per trovare le strutture ma sicuramente non prenoteremo più dalla piattaforma.
