For native English speakers who may be nervous, don’t be - the hosts speak English (and German & Italian) and most of the people we met in town we were able to communicate with! Supermarkets and pharmacies are a block or two away, and the bus system is easy to navigate. The stay itself was lovely. The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was consistently wonderful - an assortment of breads, croissants, cheeses, meats, fruits, grains, drinks, and the hosts personally ask you how you would like your eggs prepared. (Breakfast is in the back room and the door inside leads to the staircase connecting the rooms - you don’t need to leave through the back door to circle around to the front door like we did for the first day or two) The town and markets were maybe a 20 minute walk from the Airbnb. The sights are beautiful, both the architecture and the natural landscapes. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. A real reflection of the surrounding area. It felt like a home away from home.

I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the city and the surrounding towns.

I really liked the owner’s hospitality and how responsive she was whenever we needed something. The location is decent, about an 18–25 minute walk to the town center. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to suit all tastes

Honestly, I felt so well taken care of that I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be keeping the bar open later for late-night drinks or snacks.

A perfect location! 18 minute walk into the city center area. the room was clean and new. The staff were amazing! so friendly and nice. Parking was perfect. Breakfast was really good! I would stay there again.

Comfortable friendly place to stay

Most friendly welcome by Joachem despite the cafe being busy as it was lunch time when we arrived. A family run place by mother, father and son who spoke very good English. Gave us a map of the town and showed us places to go. Excellent continental breakfast including a boiled egg.

We hadn't appreciated that the cafe did not serve evening meals but various restaurants were suggested.

The premises are run by family, they were exceptional friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast with any type of coffee you want. Clean room with comfy bed and very reasonable priced.

Einfach nur schön. nur zu empfehlen !

Die Chefin Heidi war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, immer ein offenes Ohr und gute Tipps, das restliche Personal sehr freundlich. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet alles was man braucht. Parkplatz vor der Unterkunft, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bus und Zugbahnhof, gratis Zug und Bahn Card für ganzes Südtirol.

La camera pulita, spaziosa, molto curata La proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile e molto sorridente, ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. La colazione semplice ma tutto fresco.

L unica nota negativa è stata che nonostante il riscaldamento fosse acceso tutto il giorno, la camera rimaneva un po rigida a causa degli spifferi sopra il letto nella camera dove c era anche il bagno. Abbiamo messo una coperta per riparare un po la finestra visto che il letto era sotto... Ma SOTTOLINEO che vuole essere solo un suggerimento, e che se torniamo a Merano saremo felice di tornare in questa struttura..

La posizione vicino a stazione e centro città rende semplicissimi gli spostamenti, anche grazie agli ottimi mezzi pubblici. Pulizia impeccabile e colazione gustosa. Un plauso alla padrona di casa Heidi, veramente una persona squisita.

Eine Woche die wir nicht vergessen werden

Die Lage ist optimal. Das Zentrum von Meran ist einfach zu Fuss zu erreichen. Der Weg zum Bahnhof dauert ca. 5 Gehminuten und von dort geht es weiter mit dem Bus oder Zug. Wir haben das Auto nur für die An- uns Abreise benutzt. Die Chefin und alle Mitarbeiter des Gasthofes sind überaus freundlich. Dies ist ein Grund wieder zu kommen! Das Frühstuck ist ausgezeichnet und lässt (fast) keine Wünsche offen.

Fußläufig ist das Zentrum sowie (Bus-)bahnhof einfach zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, rasch herrscht familiäre Atmosphäre. Das stete Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgewogen und reichhaltig.

Das ist vorbildliche Gastfreundschaft!

Die Grosszügigkeit und Herzlichkeit der Chefin überstrahlt alles. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Morgenessen ist bereits ein Highlight. Die Chefin kommt, begrüsst, macht Angebote und bleibt sehr aufmerksam. Die Auswahl ist ausreichend. Das Zimmer war einfach eingerichtet, aber sehr sauber.

Nachttischlampen haben gefehlt.

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 giorni presso GASTHOF HANNI. Esperienza ottima, siamo rimaste molto soddisfatte della squisita accoglienza che riserva la signora Heidi (e tutto lo staff) ai suoi clienti. La colazione è buona e abbondante e molto disponibile la proprietaria.

Eravamo alloggiati in un mini appartamento che aveva la camera da letto e il bagno sotto terra: al piano della camera da letto / bagno c'era un'unica finestra che in realtà era un pozzo di luce dal piano stradale.
