The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, whilst the parking was adequate as there were few guests. The room could of benefitted from having lampshades on the wall lights, there was a rouge hair in the bath and the dressing gowns were washed with too much detergent, thus not as soft as you might expect for five star accommodation, At the time of booking a table, the menu differed considerably from that seen online, in addition to the price having been increased. There was nothing on the current menu that was appealing and as such we had to go into Bowness for our evening meal, which we weren't expecting to do, as the plan was to dine in on the basis of the menu we'd seen. We were informed that the menu might be changed, but didn't see this when initially booking the table a week prior.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location with great staff, what's not to like ! The food and service in the restaurant was top notch but the dining room itself could do with 'softening' a little' - some art on the walls would be our suggestion! But that's a minor quibble , we will be back :-)

Our stay was excellent in every way. From the moment of our arrival the staff were efficient but also very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much bother for them. The food was also some of the best we have had anywhere. Our dinner on our Anniversary night was absolutely delicious. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed and the cleanliness of the highest standard. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.We would recommend it unconditionally.

A beautiful property which is also beautifully decorated. The room was quiet and peaceful plus there were other rooms to sit in if you wished to. There were also a good range of breakfast options and very friendly staff.

Very enjoyable 2 night stay. Walkable (just) to Bowness - but uphill back! Very helpful staff. Property is slightly dated and in need of redecoration, but we enjoyed it. Lovely evening meal and breakfast.

Our stay at Lindeth Fell was excellent. The property is stunning and surrounding areas and grounds are beautiful. There’s plenty of parking available and parking right outside the front door. When you enter there’s a roaring fire and the service is impeccable. We felt welcomed and we were even upgraded to the Master Suite which was a lovely treat! We had lunch outside, which was delicious. The room was huge with spectacular views. We even had homemade cookies in the room. Breakfast was delicious too, fresh ingredients and plenty of choice. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property in a beautiful environment! Rooms well equipped and bathrooms very modern with high end toiletries. Restaurant excellent and Dan, the host and waiter was wonderful! Very attentive, friendly, appropriately humorous and very professional. The food was all excellent. We only stayed for 1 night but will definitely go back when we can. Would highly recommend!!

Two nights were booked here for two colleagues who were working in the area. They specifically requested that I leave a glowing review as they found the accommodation to be excellent and were keen to pass on their thanks to the helpful staff with particular mention to Olivia who I was asked to say is better than she thinks she is! I'm not usually asked to complete reviews for the many bookings I make behalf of my colleagues so I can only conclude that this stay was exceptionally good.

Booked for a last minute getaway, we were greeted very warmly on arrival and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our three night stay. Very spacious but cozy throughout. Set in a terraced garden with views of lake Windermere. At the time we stayed there were not many guests so cannot say what it would be like when full, however the staff were all extremely professional and I cannot see it would change much when fully booked. Breakfast was enjoyable but limited with all elements served and not part of a buffet setup, not an issue though. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was fantastic probably one of the best in the region! Olivia and Ben were great hosts at the hotel. The scenery with the sun going down at night and the added touch of bringing our group tea outside was phenomenal. Would definitely go back again.

The Lindeth Fell Country House was a fantastic place to stay with our family overnight on our way up to Scotland. Just up from the downtown area of Lake Windermere, the location was perfect for seeing the main sights, but still felt very tucked away and quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when my mother-in-law needed a recommendation for a pharmacy and when my father in law requested an extra bed sheet. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice as well. The one comment is that, of our two rooms, one was very bright and felt newer, but the other was a bit drab from a decoration perspective and felt a bit outdated. All in all, it was a lovely stay and no real complaints! Thank you.

Amazing experience. Fantastic staff and customer service, very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Cream tea was freshly prepared and scones still warm. Room was amazing with a beautiful lake view. Homemade shortbread in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was also amazing, lovely fry-up with good quality ingredients. Brilliant experience all round, we will definitely be staying again.

The reality was exactly as the website described although some small refurbishment works were still being undertaken. Harry, the manager, was warm and welcoming with apologies given for the ongoing refurbishment works. The room was expansive, clean and very comfortable with both a bath and separate shower. Dinner was exquisite and effusive thanks were afforded to the chef for an outstanding three courses of what can only be described as heavenly eating! Prices are extremely reasonable given the quality proferred. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient with nothing too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to relax and get away from it all. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Lovely couple of nights stay with mum for a Christmas shopping break, 1st time staying at Lindeth fell country house, hope the new changes aren't going to alter the character of the place, loved the fire lit when you walked in the entrance hall, it gave it a homely feel, staff where really nice and would consider staying here again.

The Lndeth Fell Inn is a beautiful property and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large and extraordinarily clean. The breakfasts, which were included in the room rental, were varied and delicious. Since we arrived via train, we had to rely on taxis but they were prompt and very affordable. The nearby town of Bowness was walkable but you need to be in excellent shape to maneuver up the fairly steep roads on the way back to the Inn. Not recommended for the physically challenged.
