Quiet, even new year's eve.
No eating facilities in the room. No breakfast available. Heating failed at one point.

Cleanliness.
The shower had no power. Checking in was poor. No one there and phone call went straight to voicemail.

Bed was comfy, tea, coffee, kettle room was clean
There was a party on both nights I stayed, finishing around midnight, so no chance of going to sleep until they had finished, to be fair they had warned me, but it was very loud. The room was very dated.

There was no breakfast available as we stayed on a two weekdays, but that did not present any problems as we do not eat much in the mornings. Michael, the owner, was exceptionally pleasant, polite and affable.
There was nothing that we were unhappy with.

The location was good as far as we were concerned as we wanted to be near (ish) to the canal as our daughter has a canal boat. We did not have breakfast and none was offered, but we had breakfast with our daughter on her boat. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted, and was quiet.
We stayed for two nights and our room was not cleaned or checked at all!

A friendly welcome and a nice, small, single room, basic but clean and adequate, for a very fair price. I would happily stay again if I have to visit Rugby in the future. Plenty of local shops of all sorts nearby, but the co-op opposite was expensive (as usual) so watch out if you go there! Thank you to all staff at the hotel for making my stay pleasant and comfortable. :-)
Nothing to complain about at all.

it was a good location for meeting friends
The room was full of cobwebs and dust, the bed was really uncomfortable we had booked for a 2 night stay, but checked out after the first night, text informing staff where we had left the key wasnt (and still isnt) acknowledged
Hotel closed when we arrived monday afternoon, it was open that evening as we found out as the pub wc's were on our floor next to our room and we could hear everything from people using the loo to the hand dryers. it wasnt good

This was a nice clean 3 star hotel. Room was a bit dated but all we needed and was bright and clean. Great value and for us a great location. Co-op opposite to get snacks and water, nice pub 25 yrs away as the hotel bar was closed on Monday night. Would be happy to stay again
Shower was a bit weak, but worked and nice and clean

Central location, friendly staff, clean room.
No breakfast is offered. However, the cafe over the road does a lovely breakfast.
The mattress could do with a topper.

Located in the village centre, opposite a coop, post office, morrisons local, a chip shop and chinese takeaway, not to mention a pair of pubs, the hotel has all you need on its door step.
One pub is drink only, the other serves food (aslong as you want it with chips).
The car park is sizeable, and tucked behind the building, so pretty secure, even for a classic car (which is what we were travelling in). The road wasn't noisy at all.
The owner greeted us and was very pleasant, we made small talk and he passed over the keys. We stayed Saturday night, however the bar was closed, and no on-site food was on offer in the restaurant.
The plus side to this - with his blessing we had chinese and ate in in the lobby (this could do with a big TV, a selection of cutlery and plates, and also better lighting).
The room was over the kitchen, which operates as a fast food jerk chicken takeaway in the evening - some of the patrons were a little noisy, however this died right down around 9-9.30.
The television in the single room was quite small, the bed was comfy enough, the missing large towel made post-shower drying a little laughable!
Would have been nice if the bar was open into the evening for residents.

No breakfast provision, although available nearby.
Bedroom 3, castor missing off bed base providing uneven support to mattress, bedside lamp not working, flaking paint dropping into shower enclosure.

Charming old building run by friendly people. A real fire to warm you in the lounge when you come in. Adequate heating. Clean.
This time the mattress was too old. However I slept I could feel the springs. Both nights I was woken by people being very loud in the corridor.

On the 2nd night we got in late from work around 11pm but couldn’t get to sleep until 1.30am due to a party down stairs. It was so loud the stuff on the dressing table as vibrating
