Was not informed prior to booking that parking had to be reserved. Was in a garage over 4 blocks away so not very convenient. Garage was short and our SUV only just went in - a larger saloon car would not. Receptionist very helpful but service in the restaurant was terrible. Very slow and tables not served in order of arrival. Didn’t like back door to hotel opening into restaurant.

I had a lovely time at the Hotel Le Beaufort from the minute I arrived until I checked out. The reception staff was warm and welcoming, as were the restaurant staff. I decided to change my room choice at the last minute, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. My room was a bay window first-floor room with a tub. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the view and little veranda were absolutely worth the extra cost. I ate at the restaurant and was very pleased with my meal. The skate was especially delicious - cooked perfectly with warmly spiced grains. The dinner was an excellent value. I would absolutely come back to this charming hotel when staying in Saint-Malo. It is an excellent value.

it’s all about the sea views. If we hadn’t had a room with a sea view I think we would have rated this hotel as middling at best. The bedrooms are small and could do with a bit of cosmetic updating. The beds are narrow though not uncomfortable. However when you look out of your window and have the changing play of light on the water literally 5 metres away, and can watch the tide rising and falling on the beautiful long beach, everything else seems irrelevant. The staff are very nice and helpful too. It’s easy to walk to many cafes and restaurants.

It was such a spectacular location with a beautiful view right on the beach. The old town about a 20 minute pleasant walk away. The large balcony was superb and there was no noise aside from the sea. The English spoken was limited but adequate. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. Also breakfast was very good. Thank you.

We liked the location of the Hotel. Within easy walking distance to the walled city. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast very good and evening meal options excellent. Also garage parking if needed. A nice stay. Would definitely stay here again.

When we walked in, we were welcomed with great enthusiasm, The proprietor and receptionist were so helpful in trying to find us parking. And wouldn't stop until they solved the problem. I've never seen this in a hotel. They were so warming accommodating. The room was very small but it had a large balcony right on the beach with the board walk out the back side of the hotel. The bathroom was updated with a very nice shower. Had an elevator which for an old building was unusual. The dinning room also served food all day. The renovations they did very very well done. I would highly recommend this hotel for bothe the location and the amenities. Expensive, though!

I found a very long white hair in dry tray in the breakfast beffet. The server took it out but i continued to stare, she took the tray back to the bar and rearranged it. Then took it back. It grossed me out. The croissant and bread cake are dry and tastlrss. It'd hard to find such bad pastey in France and they managed it. Really poor buffet cost 15€ each we didn't have a choice as there was no coffee or tea in the room. The room is shockingly small. The space between the wall and the bed omly allows one person to pass but at the corner, i stumbled on the table everytime. It was also hot and no air. Even though i never like cold, i had to open the window while sleeping as the quilt was heavy. The bed is comfortable and comparably, the bathroom is not as tiny as the room. One person inside doesn't feel phobic.

The hotel is located right on the beach. Room was small but very comfortable and cozy. Bathroom was updated and had nice amenities. Hair dryer even had a diffuser-first time I have seen that in a hotel. Breakfast room overlooks the boardwalk and sea. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Saint Malo is always a treat, and the Hotel Beaufort suited us well. The hotel is lovely. The standard double room on the water was on the small size but perfect for my sister and me. The room and bath were clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was oversized. There was no a/c but none was needed in September with the beautiful ocean breeze. The elevator was appreciated. Off-site parking is available (15 euro/night) at their private garage (reserve ahead) that is a short 3-block walk away. Breakfast was adequate (14 euro). Our only complaint was with the poor wifi. If you need it, you'll be disappointed and frustrated with the weakness, loss, and having to constantly sign-on again. We needed to be Covid-tested before our flight back to the U.S. and were able to make appointments online through Doctolib for the Centre Covid in St. Malo. Once there, it went very quickly and smoothly.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at in France. Understated elegance and thoughtful touches throughout the room and the property. Excellent hotel on the promenade in front of a long beach. Hotel recently renovated very tastefully. Comfortable room with fantastic sea view and smart shower room. Easy walk to historic centre. Good base for Mont Saint Michel, coastal walks, boat trips,water sports and various museums.

The hotel is small (no restaurant) but right on the beach, close to St Malo. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bathroom lovely. The pillows were a bit too hard for me but no other complaint. I'd go back for a longer stay.
