Beautiful maintained mansion in beautiful surroundings. Excellent breakfast. The staff in check in was very helpful providing a map of Florence and giving good information about parking locations. Highly recommend it. The property has a gate with provide access only to people staying in the B&B. Very safety oriented. Even though the access street is a little bit hide the GPS brought straight to the enter of the property.

Extremely disappointing, too far from centre of Florence, taxi's were extortionate. Hotel facilities were well below par, breakfast was poor and the pool area was unacceptable, if I could have asked for a refund I would have. I wasn't even able to watch any Television channel in English.Everything was inn German or Italian. They also didn't have any dinner options for the evening, if you wanted to stay on the Hotel grounds and not travel too far.

The Marignolle was the perfect base for my mukti-day tour of Tuscany. Beside the beautiful peaceful setting and comfortable room, there was a delightful breakfast buffet each morning to start the day. The staff was always helpful ... Even preparing a dinner for one when needed. Great complement to an exceptional vacation experience.

Lorenzo and his staff were wonderful !! They accommodated our early leave with breakfast earlier than usual and made great suggestions on where to walk or have dinner. We all enjoyed the pool - perfect for the heat of Florence ! But also only a 15min taxi ride away from city center.

Florence is beautiful, but busy, so this hotel is the perfect place to get away from the bustle and relax in the stunning grounds and enjoy the lovely pool. The room was very comfy, clean and a good size, but a little dated. The included breakfast was great. You can pay for extras too. The staff were excellent. There was also an great restaurant 2 mins away for dinner. We had a wonderful staff and would recommend this place if staying in Florence. You ideally need a car to get into Florence centre if required.

Lorenzo, his father, and their lovely Assistant Lady were incredibly wonderful, and made us feel perfectly at home.Staying at the Marignole we experienced gorgeous nature, with breathtaking tranquility and peace. You feel as if you are staying at your own luxury countryside villa, conveniently located just a few steps away from the center of Florence.The breakfasts are amazing, natural, and fresh, and their omelettes are picture perfect and extremely delicious, as you see in magazines. Sitting in the peaceful living room during evenings after dinner to sip exquisite Grapa is truly memorable. Their pool is beautiful and peaceful, with gorgeous countryside views.Everything was perfect, and the truth is that everything is better and more beautiful than what you see in the photos.

Lorenzo took us on a four hour wine tasting tour to Greve and Radda which was wonderful.

This is a beautiful property, but the description of our room was deceiving. There were supposed to be 3 of us in the "deluxe triple room," and we asked for 3 single beds when they emailed me to ask our preference. What we got was a very small room - the bathroom was nearly as big as the bedroom itself - with two twins pushed together and a rollaway twin. One of our party couldn't make it, which was fortunate, because had there been 3 of us in that room it would have been very uncomfortable. It was very tight with 2 of us. This was not a $300 a night room by any means.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here. It was absolutely lovely. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The owners could not have been more attentive. The grounds are impeccable. The breakfast buffet was very nice and we even had a small dinner here a couple of nights when we were too tired to go out. The food was wonderful and tasted like it was homemade - which it was. The location is only a few minutes by car to all the sightseeing locations.

This charming villa just outside of Florence (but very close to the city) was just the place we needed after staying right in the center of Rome. The owners were very accommodating and kind. The villa has seven rooms, with two additional rooms or suites in another building. The breakfast area is bright and open to the outside by wide patio doors. The lavender gardens fill the air with their aroma, especially when walking down the stairs to the beautiful pool. The large sitting room at the villa is sunny and inviting. Our room was quite comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and patio doors to the outside garden. I would not recommend walking on the road to the villa, as cars zoom past on this narrow winding road at great speeds. There is a nearby restaurant called Bibe which has a pretty outdoor terrace and excellent food. The restaurant owners will drive you back and forth to the villa.

This was a beautiful setting for a hotel however you definitely need to have a car as a taxi to and from the city ranged between €10-15 each way. We did have a few issues with our original room but we moved to a suite when the issues couldn't be rectified (no hot water & toilet issues) which was great. Lorenzo was extremely helpful and an asset to the hotel.
