An unforgettable stay in Florence! Our experience was truly amazing. The *lovely family* who runs the bed and breakfast made us feel right at home. The *room was perfect*, cozy and clean, and the *breakfast was absolutely delicious* every morning. The location is ideal — *very close to the station* and walking distance from all the main landmarks. What touched us most was their kindness: it was my dad’s birthday, and they surprised him with a *cake as a gift* — such a thoughtful gesture! I absolutely *loved our stay* here and can’t recommend it enough. A *must-visit* in Florence!

Quiet, comfortable spot in walking distance to lots of great neighborhoods

Wonderful location, up on a hill and easily walkable into the city center - it was super quiet at night, which I appreciated, and the neighborhood is lovely. My room was very comfortable, it was nice to be able to open the windows at night and let the cool air in. Quick walk to Boboli Gardens, the Oltrarno square, and easy to get to the train station on public transit or by foot. The host and his family were so kind - breakfast was lovely: Italian pastry, coffee and fresh fruit (perfect!). It was exactly what I wanted for a couple days in Florence!

Staff were very friendly and provided us useful information about olaces to visit un and oursude Florence. There is also a direct bus that takes you to the city centre. Place is tidy and comfy.

Quiet place in Florence

For someone who doesn't need to be right in the city centre but prefers a quiet location close to the centre, this is an excellent location. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within 10 minutes by car from Piazzale Michelangelo. The centre from the accommodation is reachable on foot within 20 min or by bus within 5 min. The bus stop is approx. 300 metres from the accommodation. Just take into account that the way back goes uphill. Car parking has to be arranged with the owner. Good breakfast which can be eaten on the terrace with a view. We definitely recommend this accommodation. We would use it again.

Enjoyed it very much

The host was very friendly and helpful. The building and the room are beautiful. The breakfast in de garden was nice. Walk to the town is 2 km and a busstop is nearby. I would definitely recommend it, it is a nice place to be if you want to visit the city.

The host was so helpful with both the accommodation AND navigating the sight seeing...great breakfast and his private parking spot!...let us know that important sites like "statue of David " would be closed so we went immediately on Sunday...very fortunate

style of the house, lovely backyard where depending on weather you can have breakfast. breakfast was lovely the host bakes some really nice cakes 😀. Donatella and AAugustino are lovely people helping the host out with everything when it comes to breakfast. property is a nice short walk to the city centre .

Perfect stay

The hause is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood outside the city centre, which can be easily reached by foot or by bus. The host are very friendly and exceptionally helpful, and did everything possible to make us feel like home. The room was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. Fantastic bed and shower. Excellent breakfast. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great stay.

Nice house, very clean and cozy. The hosts are friendly, breakfast was very good, they even had some homemade cakes that were really delicious.

Everything was great, but the walk to the center is quite long - around 35min, wouldn’t recommend walking during the summer, because it gets really hot, but the house is very close to the bus station, so you can just take the bus.

A beautiful gem near town

Sangaggio House B&B ist located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood a bit outside the center of town, which is easily reached by a short bus ride or an interesting and not too long a walk along small shops, tasty restaurants and hidden gardens. The host of the B&B is very friendly and exceptionally helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would return in an instant.

Wonderful hosts / All as described & all-around a pleasurable stay!

We (teenage daughter and dad) appreciated the location, away from the humdrum of the historical and tourist sites. Our stay at the B&B greatly contrasted the famous Florenz (tourist) sites. Bus access is frequent, but all areas are within (20- 40 min.) of walking distance. Rather than waking up in a hotel and stepping out into a busy street, we appreciated, after enjoying a leisurely breakfast that included home-baked goods out on the veranda, a slender down the hill amongst locals towards the city. And, reverse after a day of sightseeing, riding the bus with people coming from their jobs, or walking amongst them made it all more real.

Fantastic bed and shower, good breakfast, very good value overall. Practical mini fridge/mini bar. It's like a small guesthouse, feels cozy. Big room. Agostino, was very attentive and accommodating. Would come again.

Surprising gem in Florence!

This was a last-minute booking over a holiday weekend, so honestly, we didn't have super high expectations & were just happy to have found a place. But this turned out to be a fantastic, hidden little gem! Literally within walking distance to all the hotspots in Florence, with convenient street parking and an accommodating and hospitable host, Agostino. Agostino was just a phone call or text away if we needed anything throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and ours had lovely french doors out to the back patio and garden. The breakfast was perfect, with homemade baked goods, a selection of meats, cheeses, and seasonal fruit and eggs upon request. It turned out to be the perfect B&B for our spontaneous visit to Florence.

It's not a "dislike", but just so others are aware, the parking is not assigned and is on the street. It was never a problem for us to find a spot very close to the house.

Very clean and cool rooms. Parking space was provided close to the apartment.

Over 30 minutes walk to city center, which is not ideal with the high temperatures in Florence. Owner did not seem very happy to welcome us. The building (and the interior) is a bit old and noisy. WiFi did not work well.
