The room was in great condition. The hotel is currently under renovations but our floor was completed. We were not aware of a $200 deposit upon arrival. We wouldn’t have picked this hotel if we were aware. Literally was just an overnight stop on the way to a horse show.

The room was dirty. We found toothpaste smeared on the bathroom wall from previous customers that didn’t get cleaned. We also found two roaches. I told staff at check out and showed them pictures. They did express concern and stated they were doing renovations.

The hotel is under renovations, so there is a lot going on right now. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was very basic (no hot food except the do it yourself waffles). The maid service came in my room, but never actually cleaned it (not sure why. She left cleaning supplies in the bathroom, but didn't leave any small towels or fix the beds).

The top cover was dirty ( not stained but dirty). I did not complain but overall dirty place. Sofa in the entryway covered with a sheet and water stained, carpet is gross.

I was charged 3 times and they even overdrafted my account. They did fix it but still was a huge hassle. Rooms where ok but sheets had stains. Very small tvs. No commodities in the rooms. They advertise a pool but there isnt one. They turned it into a basketball court. So alot of advertisement with this hotel. The elevator needs work and the door rubs when closing and opening very unsafe. Would not recommend.

The stay was for our 47th anniversary. Nothing wild. Lol. Rented the king suit with jetted tub in room. Room was very basic for a suit. Tub jets surged erratically and pump was too loud to hear the tv when trying to use the tub. The pool has been removed and filled with concrete. Had a young woman wake is up in the middle of the night asking if we had an ipod charger. Breakfast was sparce, orange juice watered-down, coffee pot tasted very bitter. Did have an assortment of begals and 2 types of cereal. Provided milk was from a communal gallon jug. They did have a waffle maker but i am not a fan. English language is definitely not the primary language spoken there. Other than that, it was no different than any other hotel in the area.

My wife and I travelled for 2 weeks, stayed in 7 similar hotels and this one was the only disgusting one. I checked in by a machine with apparently a person working from home on it. But, weirdly, there were useless people behind the desk who could help with nothing. My "non-smoking" room smelled like all of La Grange smoked in there the night before. Even the pillows reeked of smoke. I never stepped on the floor in bare feet, because it was so dirty. The hallways smelled of everything gross: human waste, dogs, food, who knows what else. I killed a weird bug in my bathroom, which we refused to shower in and when I went to leave early the next morning, my car was covered in locusts. Like, the earth erupted that night and hundreds were all over my car and the small tree there. I do NOT recommend. And I'm not a picky person.

Hated the digital checkin experience... And then the room we were given had not been cleaned. Beds weren't made, contacts on the counter so then I had to go back down and deal with the stupid digital thing again to get a clean room after that everything was fine, quiet, and felt safe staying here.

The toilet was to low, when i sat down my knees were at my ears. The bed was so hard i believe it was one box spring on top of another. I had to pay a pet deposit and asked if it was refundable when i checked out and was told yes, but when i checked out, it wasn't. I did not like the check in as the manager was off site and you had to deal witha computer image. Looked like something out of star trek.

I was greeted by a front desk agent via video chat on a kiosk at the front desk. He was friendly and efficient but the lack of face-to-face service felt very dystopian to me. I started getting nervous about my stay after entering the elevator. It was dirty and horribly dim with what I would describe as horror-movie-like lighting. The walls were dented and written on like a bathroom stall. It wasn't a great vibe. My room smelled like cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. Cigarette burns covered the floor by the bed and close the TV. The bedding seemed very clean but the comforter had several tears in it like it had been used for decades. I'm not even sure what cable provider was used but it had to be the cheapest option as a "guide" wasn't available nor did the channels show program titles. That might seem nit-picky but it's 2025 and I feel like you have to go out of your way to select such a cheap cable option. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. I probably won't stay here again. It wasn't great. I also noticed the outline of what used to be a pool in a cement lot next to the building. It was as if they had just filled the pool with cement and left it. Made me feel uneasy for some reason.

Overall, exactly what we were looking for in a basic, economical overnight stay. First time we checked into a hotel at a Kiosk with a remote attendant….. wasn’t really comfortable with that but we’re old school & like talking to people in person. With that said, all went well & Nick was great.

When I first walked in there was no real person to greet me. The check-in was a face in a kiosk that I had a hard time understanding at times. The last time iI had to use one of these was at a car rental & my credit card got hacked & had a claim that got no satisfaction. This made me very uneasy. The place is clean enough but very rundown. I was at all impressed & will not stay again.
