Two full bathrooms and large common area is perfect for two couples traveling together. Parking space a plus, though we used the frequent buses just around the corner. Quiet,

Keybox access is easy to find, but we syruggled with the key as it must be pushed hard into the lock to get it fully inserted. Could use a mirror located nearby a plug for the hairdryer.

Spacious, clean and great location for catching busses into town. Kitchen/diner/lounge area particularly bright and spacious. Having two bathrooms was also great. Parking space is also great. Super Indian restaurant, coffee shops and Italian restaurant nearby.

Good washing machine but no place to dry clothes. Some key cooking equipment missing eg. Sieve. Traffic noise in main bedroom. Secondary glazing units were in wardrobe. They need to be reinstalled. Tassimo coffee machine is difficult to get pods for locally. Main bedroom needs a mirror.

Lovely quaint cozy flat nestled south of the city centre, easy access to local busses a few doors down to get back and forth. All the necessary amenities and items included; washing machine and kitchen and bathroom all as standard. Easy self-access via a lockbox and comfortable setting.

A few small matters that just take away from the overall feeling, there are no blinds on the lounge windows, while there’s minimal outside light and privacy isn’t an issue, it can be a bit frustrating if you want to wind down before sunset. The heaters do not seem to work and the staff guidance was a copy and paste of the instructions (where are not helpful), thankfully it wasn’t all that cold. On the same leaf there is no cooling (although rarely needed in Edinburgh). The lock to the bathroom door did not work, but not a major issue depending on who you’re with. No drying rack for clothes. Downstairs bed is extremely firm and uncomfortable, however blankets and pillows were good quality. We booked very last minute in August, so grateful to have the option available that suited our needs, but the price was exorbitant and overall not worth the value for money. Communication with the host was also poor, being managed by a third party company, while no issues, there was no real help and it felt very automated being restricted to business hours only.
