Clean single room for an overnight stay, the hotel is literally opposite the railway station and Piece Hall and town centre are a short walk away. Staff friendly and helpful. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with some tic perhaps, but the rates are very reasonable and the bed was comfortable. Some rooms face a busy road so some traffic noise, but not too bad. Would stay again.

Limited parking on a main road, however, staff assisted me in finding a place which was secure. Room was clean and tidy with TV and drinks making facilities. All in all a good place to stay near the Peace Hall and Shay stadium. Also close to centre of town.

Nice hotel, not plush but clean, warm, great shower and very convenient location, straight opposite train station and only a short walk to the centre of Halifax.

Upon arrival the staff were very helpful. We were checked in and in our room within minutes of arriving. The gentleman on the front desk gave us ideas of where to eat locally and wished us a pleasant stay. The room was clean and beds comfy. On check out the next day the lady on reception was super helpful and let us leave our bags at the hotel as our train had been cancelled so we had extra time to waste while waiting for the next one. When we went to collect she bid us a friendly farewell l. Would definitely stay here again! It ls on the doorstep of the train station and close to the town centre. We’ve had a brilliant weekend despite train cancellations!
