Stayed for one night, 12th-13th May. The hotel was nice enough, the beds were comfy and it was a perfect location, it wasn't the ritz but we hadn't payed Ritz prices, the stay was pretty good to be fair. What was disappointing though...we were asked to pay £100.00 deposit, we paid this, fortunately I had taken my credit card and the money was returned the nxt day. If the deposit was mentioned at time of booking I may have reconsidered staying there, because, after all, we were looking for a cheap stay overnight and, had we not had means to pay the deposit, we could have been embarrassed.
I think people need to be made aware of this deposit

The location to the train station
Well when we walked in the hotel first impressions were wow!! very modern lovely setting for the restaurant, then when we got in our room it a like walking into a different hotel the room was very dated dirty carpet, old dark furniture marks on the walls, WiFi going on and off when we put the t v on shower was very dated couldn't regulate the water temperature it was a nightmare having a shower, poor cups on the brew station one cug one ugly mug I wouldn't recommend staying her all the rooms need upgrading to fit in with the decor downstairs, it says hairdryer in room we had to go to reception for one because we didn't have a phone in the room, that's not good if your a solo traveller and get in to definitely in your room it's the most uncomfortable hotel have stayed in wouldn't recommend it
