The property was right in the centre of Halifax and newly renovated. The rooms were spacious and quirkly designed. I like when hotel rooms try something different and not everything looks the same. The owner was so nice and accommodating and made us feel instantly welcome. He also showed us some spots that he recommended and was very lovely in general. :) We loved our stay!
There was nothing we didn‘t like. We saw in previous reviews that people were complaining about the shared bathroom. Yes you share a bathroom with other parties but it was extremely clean and not busy at all. This is also communicated before you book the hotel so I‘m unsure as to why it is seen as a negative. If that is something that bothers you (which is fair) don‘t book the stay.

Room was huge and comfortable everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

No en-suite, that has to be a given these days especially at £170 for a room!
