Hebden Townhouse

My room was super nice, big room, kind of a walk-in closet space and fancy bathroom with a retro stylish bath. The heating was working, so having visited in mid-October, I could stay warm and cosy, but had to really turn it on only once, because the room was warm on its own anyway. I was a bit worried about the self-check in, but the instructions were clear and it turned out to be super straightforward when I arrived. My room was even ready earlier than expected, which was really handy as I wanted to drop off my luggage and go out to explore. Breakfast was classic continental breakfast, which I liked, but I also enjoyed a cheeky piece of sweet pastry or the fruit cup. And the location is perfect - just a few steps from the centre, the canal walk or bus stops to catch a bus to nearby villages, and just a few minutes from the train station. The only negative was the wi-fi that didn't really work in my room, BUT who needs the Internet when you're plugged to it constantly at work, and you're on holiday in Yorkshire, visiting for fresh air and stunning views ;-)

The room and en suite was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the Continental breakfast delicious. We parked in a car park one minutes walk away and found lots of great eating places very nearby . It was hard to choose where to go!
