Great pub/accommodation/food about 10 mins from the centre of Halifax. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had roast dinner which was superb with excellent portions and the best roasties. Veg were cooked to perfection. Great breakfast too. Pub had a great contemporary feel and bedrooms were sparkly clean & comfy with a large bathroom.
Everything was brilliant, apart from Cona coffee at breakfast 😖

Easy check in. Staff member lovely and showed me to the rooms. We had a small double and a standard double. Both rooms lovely. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. All the usual complimentary items plus hot chocolate and lovely biscuits. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and plentiful.
Nothing although there are no ground floor bedrooms

Amazing location...just stunning. Lovely stay, great service, well appointed room. Staff couldn't do enough for us, really professional!
Not a major issue but missed full length mirror in our room no. 3. Especially as getting ready for a wedding! Breakfast was great but on our second morning, smaller portions than the first. Day 1) 2 toast, 2 sausages & 3 bacon. Day 2) 1 toast, 1 sausage, 2 bits of bacon. Again, not important but just didn't understand why, when if we were paying separately to the room cost...would have been the same price? However, highly recommend & would stay again!
