The view was gorgeous and a good place to walk around! The bed wasn’t that comfortable but that’s so small complaint compared to the amazing experience I had I didn’t think twice about it. I will be going back next visit!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are exceptional! Every member of staff made sure we had everything we needed and they did so happily. We stayed here for 2 nights and as each member of staff went off duty, if we were downstairs, they came over to say goodbye and to see if they could do anything for us before they left. Breakfast was excellent and there was a wide choice served in a beautifully elegant room in keeping with the rest of the hotel. We could've had breakfast outside in the garden if we'd wanted. Our room was stunning with everything we needed. We had a garden view with a nice long balcony and 2 doors leading onto it. We asked at reception for a recommendation for lunch/dinner and they suggested an Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk away that made homemade pasta. They booked it for us and it was extremely good and reasonably priced The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk in the heat (38 degrees) to the start of town so if you have trouble walking far i would suggest a taxi. One day we got a taxi into the San Lorenzo district as this would've been quite a trek and it cost around €15 (via the outskirts) there and €10 back (bus the centre of town). In the evenings we had a nightcap in the hotel bar and their Aperol Spritz was the best I've had. There is also a rooftop garden with amazing views.I spent a long time on Expedia to find the right hotel for us and this hotel did not disappoint. It was perfect in every way and I can't praise this hotel enough.

i love this place and the staff!! only thing i wasn’t the most pumped about is how you give your key to the desk whenever you are leaving the hotel. i understand they are very unique keys and pick pocketing/theft is common so it’s not the worst idea to do this.

This hotel has a lot of character. Every room in the facility was carefully decorated. The room felt like a room in a fairy tale. The staff was amazing. They were very attentive and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I will definitely stay here again or recommend it to my friends and family.

If you are looking for a "A room with a view" atmosphere, that's it. The hotel is in a mid-XIXth century palace, rather well mantained, even if a few things in the rooms should be updated. Staff members are extremely kind and ready to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Furthermore, the hotel is very close to the railway station and to the city center.

5-star rating for the staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Convenient location, just a couple of minutes walk to the main attractions. Beautiful garden and closed paid parking. Great rooftop view. The hotel itself needs immediate renovation. The smell of mold in our room got me sick after two nights and to help the air conditioning system is so old that the room never got the temperature down. When we arrived at the room, room was not very clean and it had hairs from the previous guests in the bathroom and on the furniture at the feet of the bed. Mattresses are already losing consistency probably because they are too old. It is a family owned hotel and therefore I will be more lenient on these facts than I normally am and hopefully they will make me the necessary renovations for us to come back again.

It is over 108 degrees (44c) outside and I was given a room with NO A/C. It was damage, the previous guest reported it. Room 18. After going to my room I talk to the employee that he is aware of that and they are waiting for a technician to fix it. Don’t worry I give you a tan now but your A/C will be fix. It is about 3pm, I come back at 9 pm and the room is an oven. very HOT, AC is NOT working and they want me to stay there. They didn’t offered a solution to my important issue. I mean is HOT and is my vacation. Well I have to contact Booking/Expedia for about an hour to try to solve this. Finally at 10:45 PM, I was given another room. My big dissatisfaction is. wHY you don’t tell me this at check in time, Why I need to suffer and go thru this in MY time! Why? You can be very nice and apologize a million times but that will not solve the issue and solution. By other hand the place is charming, very clean, the staff is attentive and location is great. Sadly I can’t be happy for getting that poor solution that at the end of the day I count rest and enjoy my stay.
