Easy walk from main attractions yet a quiet area.

Simple tidy hotel in a nice area with local vibes, a little away from the main tourist haunts. Only c. 5 minute walk from the main train station, and near the river. A short length of a quiet street in front of the hotel, so practically no traffic noise. Some restaurants, bars, cafes and ethnic shops nearby. Easy walk to various must-see destinations. Breakfast was alright, not massive but enough choice. Beds were alright, bathroom not big but functional, shower had plenty hot water after a short wait. Room was cleaned well each day, maybe even too well, as the towels were changed every day though had hardly been used.

The room was slightly on the small side for 3 people, basically no space to unpack your bags or where to hang your coats. There was a cupboard with hangers, but so high that it was difficult for a short person to reach. Coffee machine at breakfast was slow and created queues at weekend.

The hotel is more basic than basic. The rooms need a major overhaul. The walls in the room had scuff marks and stains where someone had obviously spilled coffee. The bathroom was an absolute nightmare. The shower stall was so tiny, there was no space to move. The shower head was installed so high you couldn’t reach it and it was not adjustable. Had to stand in the shower stall with the doors closed and turn the shower on or the bathroom floor would have been soaked. There were no additional electrical outlets other than those for the lamps in the room so to charge our devices we needed to unplug the lamps and plug in our devices. No facilities to charge devices in the room or anywhere in the hotel.

Pleasant stay, nice and close to everything

Stay was nice! Staff were all really lovely and accomodating. Don’t listen to some negative reviews, the property is well managed and they are all doing their best to accomodate for all.

Can get hot in the rooms, air conditioning does get switched off seasonally.

Nice hotel close to everything.

The property is within walking distance from the train station and the city center, there are also restaurants and stores right outside. The room was clean and big enough to open our big suitcases, our fare included breakfast and it was really good, the had scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, croissants, ham, fresh veggies, etc, would definitely stay here, the staff that checked us in and out were very kind and helpful.

The furniture might be a bit outdated and the bathroom is a bit small as well but everything was very clean! Overall there were no issues with this hotel, this is a good choice 😸!

Good but need ae maintenance

The location was great, we went everywhere by walking. Bed was comfortable, breakbast although basic was enought.

The bathroom was not good. Shower is not adjustable, and the head of the shower needed some repairs, it wss very difficult to shower to my 4y old kid. Flush needed repair also, it was taking a long time to be full after someone flush. Room 202.

Super nice staff, the location was very convenient, the room was a good format with all you need.

There was a big mold stain next to the bedhead, and the breakfast was not so fresh (the scrambled eggs looked grey).

The stay was overall pleasant. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

The room is medium-sized—not too small. I liked both the room and the hotel’s location. Everything was clean, and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good; however, adding fresh curd would be a nice improvement.

The bathing area is quite small and not spacious enough for a comfortable shower.

Comfortable and well-priced in downtown Florence

The hotel is a short walk from the main train station, right downtown in Florence. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The elevator was accessible for moving luggage up to the room.

The only problem I had was that the outlets in the room required a 3-pronged EU adapter, with a ground post between the typical EU-style prongs. This is different than the standard EU adapter, and I did not have one with and was unable to charge my devices until I got back to the airport. I was able to use my adapters at the airport, so perhaps the hotel has an older-style adapter?

I stayed at this hotel with my parents about 15 years ago and booked it out of familiarity. It is as I remembered, they have kept their standards well! Really lovely location, close to the station, clean, nice breakfast and friendly staff. A great place to stay if you want a base and plan to explore a lot.

Very nice hotel with good hosts. The location is excellent, only 10 minutes walking from the big Florence highlights like Ponte Vechio.

The parking garage was not their own, but was around this corner and quite expensive: €24 per day.

Great staff and location.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Especially who was willing to make us drinks when we asked for tea-making facilities. It was an easy trek to the main train station Firenze SMN. There were enough choices of restaurants nearby.

The aircon was fairly weak although they quickly gave us a fan when we asked for one.

Good value for money

The staff was kind and provided excellent service. The breakfast was good, and the location was okay, not too far from the city center.

"After the first night, we had to change rooms because the bed was broken and the mattresses were rock hard. However, the staff promptly arranged a room change, so the service was not a problem. In the new room, there was a shower with very low water pressure. But they also fixed this issue quickly." Bathroom was very smaal and tight.

Ottimo hotel nelle immediate vicinanza della stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella. Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Specialmente alla reception sono sempre stato accolto e trattato con grande professionalità e gentilezza. La camera non è grandissima, ma arredato con grande lusso ed anche il bagno è molto bello. Colazione ricca e molto buona. Complimenti!

Bene ma non benissimo.

Sicuramente la posizione è strategica per visitare il centro città, ma allo stesso tempo trovandosi in una ZTL sei costretto a pagare il garage (35 a notte) convenzionato con l'hotel se non vuoi lasciare la macchina al di fuori dell'area ZTL.

Sicuramente la colazione, il caffè finché ti trovi in Italia deve sempre essere ottimo. La camera non aveva finestre/balconi, e trovandosi al pian terreno siamo rimasti infastiditi dai rumori notturni della città oltre ai continui schiamazzi delle persone che passano
