The location, just a few minutes from Paddington Station, is very convenient, for 2 reasons. Firstly, there is an express train from Heathrow Airport, with escalators and lifts at the station. Secondly, you can get to Oxford Street, Soho etc etc very quickly on various lines. The train rides take less than 10 minutes. We had to change our room, because the bed was too big, leaving little space to get around it and the bathroom was very small. The staff made the change promptly without any fuss and we were given another room that was much better with lots of space. Everything worked well in the room. The lift is a bit small, but was not congested, so this was not a problem. Around the hotel are small convenience stores, restaurants, pubs etc, with a variety of food., and area felt fairly safe
