Check in took a really long time due to the fact that we booked thru Hotels.com. The room was decent except for the hair that was in the shower all over the walls. One elevator was down and as we were getting ready to leave the one working elevator started having problems closing the doors as well. The breakfast buffet was adequate but the staff was clearly stressed by the amount of people that were eating at the time we were leaving. Overall - I would still stay there but not have very high expectations.

The place was in a good location, clean, the staff was nice....BUT man that highway is LOUD!!! We had a sound machine on high and still could barely sleep. It's a bummer they didn't use better quality windows. The place should be half price for how loud it is.

The 2 gentlemen who did our check-in and check-out were amazing. The breakfast was just ok. The lady was by herself on a very busy Saturday morning which to me was ludacris. The fountain was not working on both days we had breakfast, the potatoes were not enough cooked, the food was coming out too slowly because she was by herself. Not the best experience there. The rooms are ok and would be better if housekeeping would do a deep clean of the doors and floors once on a while. Same thing with the elevator. Never seen such a dirty floor in a city it has not rain. Not the place to stay if you're looking for quiet. It's right by the freeway and the windows are not designed to cut out the noise even from the 8th floor. Overall our stay was just ok.

Impossible to sleep, the hotel is built 100 feet from the highway and the noise is unbearable all night… the ice machines don't work.

Breakfast was mediocre, wanted to have toast and jelly, but they had bread for toast, but no jam/jelly. Eggs looked subpar, sausage greasy. Two elevators in the building, one was out of order. The other one malfunctioned twice on us. None of the ice machines worked except for the one in the kitchen, we had to get a security guard to get ice. Considering this was a renovated hotel, I expected everything to be working properly. If you stay at this hotel, don’t stay on the freeway side, it is extremely noisy all night.

Good easy to get to location in small downtown El Paso. The hotel has ample parking and responsive customer service. We can walk in downtown during the day and night and it seemed like a safe place. The breakfast was American eggs and sausages. Would stay again.

I like very much the quick acces from the lobby to the eleveators and from the elevators to the rooms very strategic matching the name of Holiday Express I tried to buy beer to enjoy in the lobby and no beer was available for sale that I did not like

It was a nice hotel, clean the beds were comfortable the lady who checked us in was very nice she even gave us a little box of milk for my baby because we didn't have any and we were looking for milk. Only thing that i didn't enjoy it was that our room was by the freeway side and it was very noisy but other than that was great.

Convenient location if you are passing through for an over night like we were. Definitely recommend requesting a room opposite the interstate unless you like the sound of cars and trucks flying by. Pool was a nice touch for the girls, but it is outside adjacent to the road, so a bit loud. Staff and breakfast were solid!
