    The room is nice especially it has air conditioning. I had a bad experience with the access card as it’s difficult to use. They should reprint that access card with the huge insert here. Other hotels are better as you just need to tap at the door.

    Despite the council estate appearance of the exterior, the hotel is excellently located next to the river; the view from the privilege room cannot be faulted and local eateries are all at your doorstep. Our room was spacious and clean, and good supply of toiletries were provided, with both tea and coffee facilities and complimentary biscuits, which was a nice touch. However, the thermostat was complex with no instructions - it kept automatically dropping in temperature and blasting out cold air on a very chilly day. The pillows were far too soft and the bed was two twins bolted in the middle rather than a proper King, making it uncomfortable. We called ahead to check that the room had a smart TV and that we could use our own dongle, but we found it restricted plug-in use and there was nobody from maintenance to help. The en-suite was clean, with a good, lighted, steam-free mirror; however, the room was tiny and there was only a low-pressure overhead shower with no handheld shower. Overall, we weren’t very comfortable and didn’t feel staff went out of the way to make it an enjoyable stay, but the view and location were excellent.

    The room is like a storage, not enough space to move or place our stuff. In addition, my husband is 6'3", so it is almost impossible to move about. The view is terrible, we are around ugly houses and dirty roads. Not impressed at all!
