Perfectly situated for a walk around York! Our room was clean, comfortable and bright. Breakfast was fresh with a wide selection of options available while other restaurant meals served well after a day of activity. Staff were friendly and happy to help with our enquiries. Would recommend this hotel.

Pros- Good pool. Great breakfast with wide variety. Lovely restaurant staff. Lovely maintenance staff. Good location a little away from the centre. Some nice restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for paid parking. Comfy beds. Accomodates kids well.
Cons- Sewage smell from basin. Reception staff seem a little more overwhelmed than other staff.
Signs of wear all over the room - carpets, broken lamp, superficial damage/scratches to bathtub.

Great hotel for visiting York with kids. The room was spacious with 2 extra beds for broods and the swimming pool was lovely and clean. Would stay again
