    I booked a night away before a work event here. From the get go, my room was too hot. Reception fixed it remotely on arrival and complaint What they didn’t tell me was the system automatically resets at midnight I awoke at 1am to a 23 degree room I rang reception Someone answered on the third try after 15 minutes They reset the temperature it cooled down after 30 minutes I slept badly after that and was tired all day for my work event I pointed this out to reception. No contact I e mailed them The only redress they would offer is a discount on a future stay. They say maintenance checked it and it was fine. I am not going to stay there again so their offer is meaningless. The windows do not open There are no room air con instructions The staff did not offer on first notification to pop up and show me how to use it nor tell me of the midnight reset It was flashing with some form of error warning at 1am/ a triangle with a flashing thermometer Avoid and stay somewhere they actually value their customers

    The room size was optimum. Don't expect anything fancy. Its very basic. The best part is the closeness to city centre. The staff is lovely and helpful
