good place for a short term stay

It’s a clean and friendly hotel with good size room and great daily house keeping service. The only downside is it has a huge TV with absolutely no reception and no Netflix options due to poor internet connection according to staff.

I really wonder that was charged for this Hotel DOMICILE Hamburg the astronomical price for a 4* Hotel whereas the staff and the Manager herself said they don’t even have 1 star !! The hotel was disgusting and the proof is the various photos that I took during my stay there. There are many points that I need to mention here: The Hotel Domicil Hamburg by Golden Tulip. 1. It has no 4 stars, not even 1 star. 2. There is no phone in the rooms. 3. There is no minibar in the rooms. 4. The Wi-Fi does not work or fast enough to use. 5. The Air conditioning does not have any control in the rooms 6. You will get only limited number of Tea/coffee bags in the rooms 7. There is no room service in this hotel. 8. The curtains are smaller than the windows so you cannot get the room dark enough to sleep. 9. The traffic noise was so loud that one cannot sleep at all. 10. There are cobwebs hanging all over the room. The radiators are rusted and water leaks from. 11. The rooms are so dirty and filthy that one can get sick, half repainted walls to cover the old holes and remnants of the repairs of Fungus. Please see the photos At 8, 30 the house keeping man knocked the door loudly to enter. He had such a body odour that I nearly vomited there. Of course I had to send him away that time. Again at 9, 30 the house keeping lady came into the room without even knocking the door and I had to push her out of the room. At about 10 I get out of the room and the whole area was stinking of that housekeeping man’s bad body odour. I did complain to the manager but no results. In fact it was more of a nightmare than a proper holiday in Hamburg.
