Clean and nice. Staff tried their best with English, but we don't speak any french, so communications were a little hard at times. Tv kept turning off, and wouldn't connect. Bathtub extremely strange. Had to literally climb in as it is knee high. I'm disabled, and this is very hard to handle.

Our week-long stay here was absolutely incredible. The staff provided outstanding service, always attentive and ensuring a seamless experience. Housekeeping was impeccable—rooms were cleaned daily, and staff even checked in to offer additional cleaning. Returning to a spotless, well-maintained room each day was truly delightful. The location is perfect, with the lake just a short walk away and a large shopping mall only 10 minutes on foot. Parking is convenient, featuring ample space and EV charging stations, making it ideal for electric vehicle owners. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations in every way. A well-deserved 10/10—highly recommended.

Hotel is nice, breakfast was very bad, they also charged me for at the hotel for 3 breakfasts when I only had breakfast once (added to the room upon arrival for one day). They said that a manager would contact me to refund me and they did not, I have called multiple times but no one answers the phone.

This is my second time at Novotel Creteil Le Lac and it was again excellent! The staff is just amazing ! The hotel is very close to Creteil University metro station (Line 8) which is very convenient for people looking to visit Paris. Special thanks to Alima and all the restaurant / breakfast staff.

The room was very hot because they control the heat and the air conditioner unit so the rooms were very hot ant times and when you open the windows you get some insect entering the room so it was a terrible experience there for me and my wife

We had a terrible stay. Rooms were dirty; our little boy had an insect bite. Staff does not speak a single word of English. (Luckily, one nice staff was there in the bar - friendly and nice). We asked for extra pillows, they never brought it. Area is quite bad as well. We left the hotel one night early despite paying for the hotel as we couldn't stay there. We booked it despite seeing lots of bad reviews, trusting in the Novotel brand! Big mistake. I still cannot understand on what basis they have been given a 4 star. Only good things are, Free parking and you can get a bus within 7 minute walking distance.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding in Paris. It is set in a quiet residential area next to a large lake and although close to a road there was no traffic noise. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. There is a train station you can walk to and bus stops nearby, however, we did not use them, so I can not comment on them. Close by is a large, modern shopping mall, a 10 minute walk away, with a bug selection of shops and a huge supermarket. Inside the mall there were a wide range of places to eat all through the day and into the evening, including a McDonald’s. We used the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food and service were excellent. You can scan a menu to read it in English, which was very helpful. We arrived very late at night after travelling on the Eurostar and were welcomed and booked in quickly and efficiently. The room was spacious and clean and was serviced every day. The bed was very comfortable. There was a kettle and cups and a few fruit teas bags and along with a small fridge/chiller in the room. There are water stations in the hallways where you can get chilled still or sparking water in a glass bottle, which was provided in the room. We had a great stay at this hotel and found all of the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Parking is great and quite. Not the most upscale or up to date. It rated 4 star, it would rate at a 3 stars due it limited amenities. Don’t expect luggage service or help opening doors. Overall not bad for the price of $130.00 per night.

Great stay. After a slight mix up with my booming and the required room type the staff went over and beyond to get us sorted. Great room, lovely staff in the restaurant. The hotel is a 10 min pleasant walk to the shopping mall where you the metro right into the centre. Lovely pool area. Would stay again.

Sandrine makes the best breakfast in town! Everything is tasty. Of course, the croissant, the baguette, the bread in general is fresh and delicious. They gave yogurt with fruits in the side. They have various different kind of cheese. Great juices, hot chocolate, coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, etc. They even have bacon which is really not a French classic! They have cereals and pastries. I'm sure I forget some stuff. And everything is the best! The service staff at the restaurant and in the hotel is top notch. The only negative is the gate to get to the hotel didn't work when we were there. And the hotel would need a little refreshing of the rooms. But we would come back and stay there again in a heartbeat. 45 minutes drive or metro to Paris center.

Plates wont be clean while u have breakfast. Pls watchout. AC will not work and instead they ask you to Open windows or will give you fan. For Checkin was waiting for 20 mins..no one was there at reception. If u come late at night with kids..becareful as staff at reception will watch Adult content on large screen. Room cleaning service is horrible.. inspite of placing DND, staff still try to enter to clean room. Hand football game is only for namesake. For 3 days i was following up but staff couldn't find.

We stayed at this hotel from the 7-10 Apr & they didn’t supply what I had booked & despite numerous requests they failed to address the issues raised. I booked 3 beds as my 2 step daughters cannot sleep together in a bed. When we arrived at the hotel (7th) we found that we had been given a room with just 2 beds. I raised this with the person on the front desk who said there was nothing she could do & I had to speak to the person who was on duty in the morning. In the morning I raised this with the person on the desk & they said when I returned that evening (8th), this issue would be resolved. When I returned in the evening, I spoke to the person on the front desk & they knew nothing about it. They tried to sort out another room but they said they only had another room exactly the same as what we had, but they would leave a note for day team to resolve it. I asked if I could have a complimentary breakfast as for 2 nights I hadn’t had the room I had booked. They said no problem & noted it down. When we came down in the morning (9th) at 0955 there was nothing left for breakfast. Another family was complaining as they had paid for a breakfast service and there was nothing there, see photos below: Food can run out but the person in charge of the kitchens attitude was terrible & she was also rude. So we left with no breakfast. We returned that night from Disneyland, our room hadn’t been changed & our existing room hadn’t been cleaned. Air con also didn’t work.

Very disappointed with the room. Upon checking into the room I found a nickel size bed bug lying on its back on the bathroom sink. After my 2nd request the staff agreed to let me change room. Curtains and bathtub plug broken. Room has not been well maintained since pre-Covid. The staffs were inexperienced except for the ladies helping at the restaurant. I would never stay at this hotel again!

This hotel is conveniently located for the metro (around 15 mins walk) which we wanted to use to get into the heart of Paris. The public areas in the hotel are modern but the room we stayed in was a little tired. Having said that we all slept well and would quite happily stay there again. The pros: the staff did their very best, thank you to them. The lobby is nice and the pool area pleasant too. The rooms were run down with ingrained dirt in the bathroom. The aircon seemed to be on but actually did nothing with the room temperature at night over 27 degrees. Requests to change this were not helped. When I switched off the aircon and opened the window our baby ended up with over 30 mosquito bites. Guests were not asked to wear masks - covid discipline was very poor.

The staff is friendly and professional. Our room is good but the AC blower didn't work so well. And its a bit cramped for 3 people. Breakfast was great, but the tables inside were always covered in dust. The pool closes at 7pm. So plan accordingly if you want to take a swim after a day of sightseeing. I would stay here again.
