About this farm stay rental
The farmhouse is situated in the picturesque rural Devon countryside, enclosed with tranquil rolling hills and offering stunning walks both on the property and as an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. Approached via a long drive, the period property is situated in an elevated position within a working sheep farm with over 180 acres of pasture. The former farmhouse sleeps up to 10 people in five bedrooms with two separate bathrooms & 1 en-suite and is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday with family & friends.
There is a large modern kitchen-diner with expansive range cooker and adjoining utility area, as well as two reception rooms.
Outside of the property is a private garden area with bench seating and separate patio area. The farmhouse is situated in an elevated position with great views of Exeter city at night, Dartmoor and the Teign Valley. Walking is a must with tons of birds and local wildlife to spot during your visit, don’t forget to bring your wellies in the winter! We have walking trails across 180 acres of farm & woodland. Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement.
The farmhouse makes for a wonderful group stay with a relaxed family friendly feel.
Please note that as a sheep farm, we have two female working Collies who live on the farm and they will probably pop by to say hello and try win you over for a game of fetch.

Lovely country farmhouse.My family had a wonderful celebration here over the weekend. Plenty of space and parking for everyone. Facilities really good. 2 fridges and a good freezer and a separate utility area with a washing machine. Large dining table and 2 amazing sitting rooms. Bedrooms large and comfortable. We found a room with board games later on in the stay and will remember from r next time!

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the farm house. It's in an idyllic location, quiet but close enough to many places for days out and walks. The house is large and spacious with everything that you would need and suited our family of 10.The gardens are beautiful and the children loved exploring, visiting the sheep in the fields and feeding the lambs.We feel the house would benefit from a little tlc but it didn't ruin our stay, it's part of the old house charm.The hosts were really nice, very responsive and helped as much as they could. We would love to stay again, our trip went far too quickly.
