Sandybanks Torquay - Seaview and Promenade Apartments

From the moment of booking, the lovely Maxine was in touch, everything was perfect and can't wait to return, everything was absolutely perfect! Spotless, as if we were the first people to stay in it, I took my Mum for her 70th birthday little treat and it didn't disappoint. The beds were comfy, the showers are lovely too, can't wait to book and come again, The views were amazing too. The Decor was really nice too. Thank-you so much Maxine, I highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay and a massive bonus, Maxine owns amd runs the fish amd chip shop underneath the apartment and that was amazing too. Just to note incase anyone was worried about noise, you couldn't hear a thing and also you couldn't smell the fish and chip shop either with the windows being open.

The only thing we didn't like was having to come back home.

The apartment is right on the sea front and easy to get to from the train station. It was clean and accepted pets (for an additional fee). We had an issue with the hot water and someone came round within the hour to fix it. Much appreciated.

We thought that we were booking an apartment in the complex next door as suggested by the photos. I think it was photo 33 that showed the actual front door - 4 of us looked at the photos and none of us spotted it! So our fault for not looking closely enough but a bit disingenuous. We were on the top floor which required 4 flights of stairs. Some basic kitchen cleaning items would have been useful - washing up liquid, kitchen roll, spare bin bags, tea towel etc. and spare loo rolls. Earlier access - say 2pm would have been much better.

It was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and had lovely little touches. Decor was really well thought out. Location perfect. Safe, not too busy, not noisy at night.

Toiletries were tiny and could have had spare toilet rolls. It was warm but that’s the heatwave. Fans were provided. Maybe future investment suggestion is air-con x

Perfect little spot on the beach super easy to the beach and PERFECT restaurants below. Try the mexican restaurant and the little tapas bar was AMAZING!

The beds were not comfortable at all. The one single bed felt like a water/air bed. And we really thought from the photos that there were 2 single beds :-(
