Great location at the top of the hill with lovely sea views. The property was spacious and the air conditioning was excellent, which was especially appreciated in the hot weather. There’s also a lovely little kiosk/bar just a few minutes’ walk away, and the castle is very easy to reach. A really comfortable and convenient place to stay.
The beds were not particularly comfortable. Both the main bed and the pull-out had a noticeable springy/wiry feel, with the main bed actually being the less comfortable of the two.
We also had an issue at check-in because the same lockbox is used for two units and the keys are not clearly marked. Another guest accidentally took both sets of keys, which meant we had to wait around 35 minutes for the key to be returned. A clearer system for the two units would easily avoid this.
