Very comfortable and well appointed property in a stunning location

This place really does live up to the photos and expectations. I had wanted to visit for some time and I'm so glad the opportunity finally presented itself. It is very clean and comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities. It is in a lovely remote location and made for the most peaceful and relaxing few days. Fossil hunting was enjoyable and although it needed quite a lot of effort I managed to bring home a couple of brilliant specimens that I'm really pleased with that will be nice memories of the visit.

Exceptional

Incredible location. Beautiful clear sunsets and moonrises, perfect for stargazing. We loved the Quarry. There is a supermarket with petrol station and cash machine just down the road. All the benefits of being remote with non of the disadvantages.

Not a dislike, but check your roads before heading out for the day. There is usually an A road option which is a bit longer if your car isn't up to steep narrow roads.

we found this little gem an exceptional place to stay the peace and tranquility surpasses our expectation's we looked for something off the beaten track and this just fits the bill perfectly,a great time had for our week away

Highley anticipated short break that was well worth the wait.

The hut is small but perfectly formed. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the layout and equipment to make best use of the space. We had everything we needed bar a microwave which we could live without. We didn't get chance to use the outdoor equipment but could see that the outdoor space had been well thought through as well...even had a little fountain to sit and listen to! We were able to have a lovely mooch in the quarry and found plenty of Trilobites as hoped, to the be able to come back into a lovely, cosy and warm space to thaw out. We plan to come again in the summer months when we can get the best of the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Amazing Escape in the Welsh mountains

Cute and quaint, stunning views, warm and very well insulated, no light pollution, had everything we needed and was just what we wanted.

A memorable adventure!

The quarry and fossil hunting were exceptional. The hut is situated amongst a breathtaking landscape and wonderfully tucked away! Even when it was wet and windy we were very cosy inside. Emma was very helpful and kind, and her communication was excellent.

Stunning place

Stunning location, so well insulated and cosy. All the thoughtful things you would need. The views, the communication with the owner. The lovely decor. Lovely warm underfloor heating. Waking up to sheep and wildlife. I LOVED all of it.

There was nothing to dislike, at a very push maybe a larger mirror somewhere in the shower room. But that's not a negative!!
