Nothing, it was fantastic. Only thing to note is the shower over the bath is not suitable for those with less mobility due to the height of bath, but that is my error as I didn’t check beforehand, but we managed fine.

This has become my new "escape from the madness" hidden gem in Wales. I almost don't want to share it! The cottage is exceptionally well equipped, with two spacious bedrooms, fans and heaters, a lovely, generously sized bathroom, and a fantastic kitchen stocked with plenty of utensils and cupboard space. The comfortable sofa and dining area made it feel like a real home away from home. The real highlight, however, is the outdoor space. Relaxing in the jacuzzi while overlooking rolling fields with sheep grazing nearby was absolute bliss. At night, soaking under a sky full of stars was unforgettable. The soft, lush grass, peaceful surroundings, and constant birdsong make it the perfect place to switch off and recharge. Parking is safe and convenient right outside, and the host is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was a delight watching the chickens, geese, and ducks wandering around the other side of the cattle grid, while the little birds visited the feeders throughout the day. If you need supplies, there's a large Tesco just a short drive away. Alternatively, if you're like me, you'll enjoy supporting the local butchers and independent shops nearby. If you're looking for peace, quiet, beautiful countryside views, and a truly relaxing getaway, I can't recommend this place highly enough. I'll definitely be returning.
