Wonderful 3 night stay at an extremely comfortable lodge & peaceful rural location, near Rhayader.
My husband and I stayed at Lon Lodges for 3 nights in June. It’s a lovely location on a working farm and the owners are very hospitable. It was an extremely comfortable accommodation and the owners thought of every detail. The view from the lodge was amazing over the farm. The lodge has everything you could possibly want. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern, and the car parking was quite ample. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking a meal. The bird feeders outside the kitchen window were wonderful … blue tits, great tits, sparrows, greater spotted woodpecker, nuthatch and more. We visited many local nature sites but also did the walk around the farm which was mapped out in a pamphlet in the lodge. We are keen to go back since it is lovely lodge in a great location close to Rhayader. The town has many good pubs for eating out. Note: The WiFi was perfect and we had no problems with speed or reliability.

Peace and quiet
It was brilliant, the hot tub over looked fields and hills, you could see for miles. It was very private, so we could soak in the tub watching the world go by, and the night sky was amazing very dark skies. Hosts were lovely and very helpful and the walk on the fields through the animals and nature was fantastic. I hope to definitely return.
