Very well kept, pretty home, located in a quiet place, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The hostess was friendly and very helpful. She communicated and organised everything really well. We were also able to see the night sky, it was beautiful. It was the perfect location for us. I would highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike

Nami is the perfect host and so so helpful. House is beautiful clean, has everything you need. Garden is perfect and a great space if you have children like myself.

Beds squeaked when turning over and cheap mattresses. Did not have a good night's sleep. Towels old and very small. Kitchen kit cheap.

The location for the Elan Valley was perfect and Rhayader is a lovely little town especially The Triangle inn. Nami was very friendly and met us when we arrived. It was spotlessly clean.

It would have been good to have a mirror near a socket to use my hairdryer but that’s very personal to me.

We were well-informed. The host communicated well prior to arrival- sent a welcome pack and then met us on arrival. She was contactable for any queries throughout the stay. The location and picturesque panoramic countryside hill views were perfect: quiet cul-de-sac, easy to find and access. Ample parking on private driveway. Motorcross track nearby (one of our reasons for going); lovely town in short walk of property with petrol station, a good range of characterful shops and places to eat and very friendly people. Elan valley walk from town- lovely sheltered walk through woodland; large population of Red Kites surrounding. The accommodation was light, bright (due to large full- height window at front and open- plan layout making the most of the views), very clean and provided all facilities we needed (plus one or two thoughtful additionals)for a self-catering break with a bonus lovely, private,large, well- kept garden providing outdoor table and chairs.

The only two very minor improvements would be to tighten up the fixings on the bed to make more sturdy/ less movement and to provide a hair dryer ( usually have found this to be a standard item).

We have one word, SUPERB!! Definitely going back, fantastic location and a beautiful place to stay.

The place was in a great location to Rhayader town, with beautiful hills. Place was beyond spotless and smelt incredibly clean. Really love home,great outside space. Only stopped one night but could easily stop more. Great attentive host.

We loved our stay at Ty Ray Penmaes. We had everything we needed. The bungalow was clean and stylish with beautiful views. We had a very peaceful nights sleep, in a good location with a short walk into the village.
