The location was perfect for our needs. The property was cosy, comfortable and offered all we needed, particularly as we had our old dog to consider. The owner was on hand and very obliging.
The property description makes it very clear about the facilities available. Parking could be an issue for some, but we were aware of that before arrival. We are very vigilant about clearing up dog mess in the garden, but there was old stuff around that we sorted.

Lovely, spacious and clean cottage in the centre of Rhayader very close to local amenities. Three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. Large, sunny garden with table and chairs. Friendly, helpful host.
We visited during a heatwave so the bedroom in the eaves got extremely hot. There was no ventilation and no fan, so would recommend bringing a fan if staying during the summer. The rest of the cottage was cool though, which was a very welcome relief! We found the mattresses a little firm, but that's personal preference. Just to be aware, there's no freezer compartment in the fridge.

No lock on bathroom. Top bedroom smells of damp carpet. Facilities merely adequate.
