Stayed for one night on my way up to Scotland from the Midlands. Location is ideal for such a purpose and the place is cozy and welcoming, I had a very pleasant evening and night there! Easy to find and a little while after I'd let myself in, Claire came and introduced herself, bearing a bottle of ice cold water for me, which was most welcome! (It was a very hot day!) Although I only stayed one night, it has all the facilities you would need for a comfortable longer stay as well. Very happy!
Not much to say here... If I had to be super critical... The bathroom sink and tap are a tad wobbly! But honestly... Who really cares??! Ha! Loved the place

I inadvertently made an incorrect booking (should have read the details more carefully!) but Claire (the owner) couldn't have been more helpful in trying to re-arrange the booking to cater for our needs.

Location was excellent for exploring the Northern lakes.
Penrith was conveniently close for shopping as we were self catering.
The state of cleanliness could have been better. The hob, microwave and shower could have been more throughly cleaned.

Good location, off road parking. Good stop for motorcycle touring
A bit run down, shower tray blocked, bathroom floor rotten. No forks in the cutlery tray. No washing machine.
