Okay it provided a bed for the night.

The loo was noisy all night. The toiletries were impossible to squeeze out of the bottles and so useless. Clearer instructions on how to use the key box would have helped as I have never used one before

This was the most perfectly convenient little stop - we need somewhere to just sleep after exploring and the room was fab. Everything you needed and super warm, all linen included etc which I wasn’t expecting for the fab price! Great value and perfect for exploring Cheltenham, Tetbury, Gloucester etc.

Not the best stay

Stayed for a day with my 3 kids in 2 rooms, the rooms were clean with basic supplies.

The rooms were attic converted rooms , so the ceiling was not straight and slanting from one side -leaving very less space for my husband to move around freely. He is tall and had hit his head couple of times trying to operate the TV & wardrobe. He couldnt without a struggle. Before assigning the rooms, there should have been a caution about how these rooms are not suitable for tall individuals. Also heating took a while to warm the rooms as it wasnt a centralised heating system.Food options limited for vegans or vegetarians.

Spacious and convenient

Nice large room with a stately home like feel. Easy access (self check in). Good stay for one night and met our needs. Happy with our stay overall.

Worst place I have ever stayed.

Central heating was not working, so I put the electrical fire on to keep warm. All power circuit plugs failed shortly after room warmed up. Woke up cold under a thin duvet at 3.30am with No heating or bedside lights etc. Breakfast was undercooked sausages and overcooked crisped bacon, cold toast Complained and was told that the manager would be informed. Still waiting for his response.

Breakfast overpriced Tea extra price??!! Coffee extra price???!! Juice extra price?? !! NO CUSTOMER CARE NO ask if everything OK No ask if we would like any sauces or preserves for toast. No asking us if we enjoyed our breakfast. No asking us if our room was OK? No mention of thank you or safe journey home No mention of are you travelling on to somewhere before home ? Pitch black carpark on arrival No heating in room, except an electric portable radiator in late November. Staff were very distant sadly 😥

Big and clean rooms

Room were big, nice and clean, the beds are very comfortable.

In one of the two rooms we booked, the heating wasn’t working, and the room was very cold when we arrived. When we pointed this out, we were simply told to use the electric heater provided in the room. It’s disappointing — what’s the point of asking for our arrival time if the room isn’t prepared and comfortably warm upon check-in? I would have expected more from a boutique hotel. Additionally, the front parking area could really use some lighting, as it’s completely dark at night.

Fell very short of what was meant to be a lovely weekend away

Nothing - we didnt end up staying

Disappointing stay. This hotel operates entirely on self-check-in and there's no “boutique” feel or personal service suggested in the description. When we arrived, our room had a low humming noise which would have made it difficult to sleep. The onsite staff acknowledged the noise, made a token effort to locate the source of the noise but seemed perplexed and unprepared to deal with the issue - it felt more like they were going through the motions rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the problem. We request a room move but this was not possible given the hotel was fully booked and we had no alternative to move hotels. Although we spoke to remote management at the time about a refund, post the weekend this was refused. The follow-up was handled poorly and without honesty - the hotel denied what had happened and refused a refund. Would not recommend if you expect genuine service or support when issues arise.

I was awoken around 12.30 by noisy guests shouting and smoking pot outside my bedroom window room 12 After shouting at them to be quiet they ignored me and it continued until 5.30 am with the room above Making as much noise as possible all night also It’s fine having a self check in but when you can’t contact anyone if you have a problem it’s not ok I had to work all day nodding off whilst driving because of the lack of sleep The place itself was fine but it could have turned quite nasty if I wasn’t outnumbered 4-5 to 1

The beds changed in each room. Night before was two beds together so there was a gap inbetween last night the size was fine but the mattress was soooo soft. Also no water in the room

No reception, awkward interaction with a staff person, steep spiral stairs to a problematic attic room, mushy twin beds, very poor value. Bumped our heads at every turn.
