Lovely location

Location is around 45 minute walk from Cheltenham Spa train station, through the town and out the other side. Public transport is good - buses can take you to Tewkesbury and Gloucester (£3 single per paying adult) if you want a change of scenery. Really lovely cooked breakfast in the mornings. Comfy bed and very clean bathroom.

Excellent, well priced accommodation with an incredible breakfast and wonderful hosts.

The accommodation was comfortable, well appointed and spacious. The hosts were charming and hospitable. The breakfast was superb and far more than I was expecting with an array of both hot and cold choices. I would thoroughly recommend. Free on site parking was a great added bonus. Easy access into Cheltenham.

Excellent, value for money, spacious, lovely hosts who catered for all are needs.

The breakfast was excellent, we had different types of yoghurt, jams, fruit. There was a choice of cereals, tea, coffee, hot chocolate apple and orange juice. They gave you a good choice for a hot breakfast, nothing to much trouble. Very attentive, friendly hosts

Wonderful and comfortable, spacious and relaxing stay.

The bedroom was wonderful and spacious with an excellent relaxing area also. Both Hugh and Jilly were delightful hosts so thank you. The location was great for us as it was only a short walk into town where we were attending an event. Thoroughly enjoyed the full breakfast, set us up for the day!

Great hosts, close to all ammenities, plenty of room with a well equipped kitchen. Hugh and Jillie also provided a great English breakfast. Quiet neighbourhood wonderfully comfortable beds and a gorgeous garden to relax in!

A great place to stay

We were given a warm welcome on arriving and shown to our spacious bedroom. The ensuite was well equipped with a good-sized walk-in shower cubicle. The breakfast was excellent with fruit juice. fruit, yoghurts, cereals and a cooked breakfast on offer.

Very aware that you’re staying in a ‘flown the nest’ home. We didn’t feel it was appropriate to have family photographs in the apartment and it felt like some of the furniture was family heirlooms. It’s a shame we couldn’t open the doors onto the sunny patio area.

Very enjoyable!

Our double room at the front of the house was absolutely gorgeous. It was filled with natural light and fresh air from three lovely windows. It was beautifully furnished, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Hosts Hugh and Jilly were outstanding. They were warm, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was a delight, with a delicious cooked option, plus they offer a generous selection of fruits, yoghurts, and cereals.

Nothing really, except there could be other types of pillows offered as some people have allergies to feather down pillows. There is some road noise through the day, but it was quiet through the night.

Wonderful stay, marvellous hosts

This was an amazing place. Perfectly located for trips to Cheltenham centre. Hugh and Gilly are wonderful hosts, made us feel so at home. The breakfast was fantastic, so much offered and everything was super tasty and fresh. The apartment had everything you could want and more, sofas, tvs, kitchen, storage. We only stayed one night but both agreed we could stay there for longer easily. Everywhere was clean and tidy, really relaxing place. The beds get their own paragraph. Everything about them makes you never want to get up, the pillows are snuggly, the quilt almost hugs you, but isn't too warm (we had a brief heat wave during our stay!) and the mattress was perfect. Really relaxing sleep. The wifi is excellent, I was able to do my work before breakfast, fast and no drop outs. It really felt like a home away from home and we will definitely return when anything brings us back near/in Cheltenham.

Great accommodation

The hosts were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was cooked to order and noting was too much trouble. Our room was a great size and although we overlooked the road, it did not disturb our sleep. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were of a good quality. The shower was hot and the hosts provided shower gel and shampoo if you forgot your own. If you also wanted more teabags and/or milk you only had to ask.

Because the room was so large it is easy to miss ceiling cobwebs and as an ex housekeeper I have a nose for cleanliness. The toilet cistern at the sides was a bit dusty - a quick wipe with a duster would soon bring it up to scratch.
